Does BIMI require DMARC?

Yes. BIMI requires a DMARC policy at enforcement, usually quarantine or reject, and the domain needs passing aligned authentication before mailbox providers will consider showing the logo.

Why is my BIMI logo not showing?

Common causes include DMARC not being enforced, an invalid SVG, a missing or invalid certificate, DNS mistakes, mailbox provider caching, or sending to a provider that does not support BIMI.

Is BIMI an email authentication protocol?

No. BIMI is a brand display layer. It relies on SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to prove that the message is authenticated before a logo can be shown.
