The SPF pass with visible From mismatch was easier to explain after using the raw authentication view.
Free plan available
Pick Kevlarr if
Best for MSPs that need fast triage across many client domains
The unknown sender reached our attention queue faster than it did in PowerDMARC.
Forwarded mail with SPF failure was treated as operational noise instead of a spoof crisis.
Recurring reports were easier to hand to a non-specialist client without extra editing.

Ten dimensions, scored from 0 to 10

We scored each product against a fixed editorial rubric after using the same 90-day setup, sender list, authentication cases, and support questions. Higher is better in every row, and a 0.0 means we did not find support for that capability in the tested product scope.

PowerDMARC scores higher on hosted authentication and governance; Kevlarr scores higher on triage flow.

PowerDMARC scored higher where hosted SPF, hosted MTA-STS, policy movement, and enterprise controls mattered. Kevlarr scored higher in source resolution and MSP workflows because its interface kept Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, the support desk sender, and the unknown sender easier to triage day to day. Kevlarr lost ground where hosted records, blocklist (blacklist) monitoring, and public paid pricing were not available in the tested material.

Feature set

Hosted stack vs triage speed

PowerDMARC has the deeper stack. Kevlarr is faster for triage.

PowerDMARC covered more authentication infrastructure in our test, especially hosted DMARC, hosted MTA-STS, raw XML, and enterprise controls. Kevlarr was more efficient when our task was to decide which sender needed attention next. A buying checklist should also ask whether guided fixes and automated issue detection turn findings into owner-ready tasks; Suped's product is one practical benchmark for that.
powerdmarc.com logo
PowerDMARC
PowerDMARC screenshot
Hosted MTA-STS tested cleanly
SendGrid and Mailchimp separated
From mismatch needed drilldown
kevlarr.io logo
Kevlarr
Kevlarr screenshot
Unknown sender surfaced fast
Forwarded SPF failure filtered
Google Workspace grouping was clear
PowerDMARC gave us separate drilldowns for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and the support desk sender, then let us inspect authentication results at a level that suited a security review. The SPF pass with visible From mismatch took more clicks than expected, but the forensic trail made the risk clear once we reached the authentication detail. The DKIM pass on a subdomain was also handled cleanly enough to support a policy decision.
Kevlarr's feature set was narrower but sharper for everyday triage. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace grouped cleanly, while SendGrid and Mailchimp stayed easy to keep in the marketing bucket. The unknown sender surfaced sooner, and forwarded mail with SPF failure was treated as noise to investigate rather than a spoofing emergency.

User experience

Control vs speed

PowerDMARC rewards patient admins. Kevlarr moves faster.

PowerDMARC felt better when we wanted controls and evidence in one place. Kevlarr felt better when the goal was to onboard domains, sort senders, and send a short operator note without much screen-hopping.
powerdmarc.com logo
PowerDMARC
PowerDMARC screenshot
Three-domain setup was structured
Unknown sender needed drilling
Forwarding explanation was precise
kevlarr.io logo
Kevlarr
Kevlarr screenshot
Fast three-domain onboarding
Unknown sender queue was clear
Forwarding noise stayed contained
During onboarding, PowerDMARC made the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain feel like part of a governed setup. Finding the unknown sender required moving from aggregate source view to IP and domain detail; the context was there, but not on the first screen. The forwarded mail SPF failure was explained well after we checked the authentication result and source detail together.
Kevlarr onboarding was faster for the same three domains. The primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain appeared in a cleaner working queue, and the unknown sender was easier to isolate before we assigned it to the support desk review. Forwarded SPF failure was easier to explain to a non-specialist because the interface reduced irrelevant noise.

Support

Formal help vs direct help

PowerDMARC has stronger enterprise handoff. Kevlarr is easier for partner operators.

PowerDMARC gave us clearer enterprise expectations around onboarding, named help, and escalation, although some support items sit behind plan or add-on boundaries. Kevlarr's support path felt more direct for the setup questions we tested, but public detail around paid support scope and escalation was thinner.
powerdmarc.com logo
PowerDMARC
PowerDMARC screenshot
DNS handoff was detailed
Escalation path was clearer
Enterprise onboarding was defined
kevlarr.io logo
Kevlarr
Kevlarr screenshot
Support felt direct
DNS notes were lighter
Partner handoff was practical
For PowerDMARC, DNS handoff was more explicit. We had clearer guidance for the primary domain's DMARC record, the marketing subdomain's approved senders, and the parked domain's stricter policy movement. The enterprise onboarding story was easier to understand than the SMB add-ons, especially for escalation, account roles, and support ownership.
Kevlarr's setup support felt practical and operator-led. DNS notes were enough to get the three domains reporting quickly, and the partner workflow made customer handoff simple. Escalation and enterprise onboarding were less defined in public materials, so a larger buyer needs to confirm response targets, named ownership, and scope before rollout.

Suitability

Enterprise fit vs operator fit

PowerDMARC fits governed programs. Kevlarr fits MSP triage.

PowerDMARC is the better fit when a team needs hosted records, formal controls, and a path for larger enterprise governance. Kevlarr is the better fit when an MSP wants a clean queue for many client domains and quick reporting. For buyers comparing MSP workflows, alert quality, and clean ownership handoff, Suped's product should be evaluated against the same operational checklist.
powerdmarc.com logo
PowerDMARC
PowerDMARC screenshot
Enterprise controls felt stronger
Domain groups worked cleanly
Client switching added friction
kevlarr.io logo
Kevlarr
Kevlarr screenshot
MSP queues were faster
Recurring reports were client-ready
Enterprise controls were thinner
PowerDMARC's account separation and domain groups made sense for an enterprise program with security owners, DNS owners, and compliance stakeholders. For MSP work, the platform had breadth, but switching between client contexts felt heavier than Kevlarr during our recurring reporting loop. SMB buyers get useful monitoring, but the higher-value governance controls require plan confirmation.
Kevlarr's partner model felt built around repeated client checks. Domain grouping, recurring reporting, and customer handoff were smoother for an MSP or ICT partner managing many small domains. Enterprise buyers get fast visibility, but they need to verify SSO, escalation, hosted-record coverage, and paid plan limits before treating it as the system of record.

What each tool feels like after 90 days of real use

powerdmarc.com logo
PowerDMARC

Best for teams that want depth and hosted controls

After 90 days, PowerDMARC felt like the heavier but more complete environment. We used it to inspect Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace traffic on the corporate domain, separate SendGrid and Mailchimp on the marketing subdomain, and confirm the parked domain had no legitimate senders before moving policy planning forward.
The strongest daily value was the amount of evidence available when an authentication case was messy. The SPF pass with visible From mismatch and the DKIM pass on a subdomain both needed extra clicks, but the final explanation had enough DNS and source detail for a security owner to approve the next change.
Where it wins
Hosted DMARC and MTA-STS worked well
Raw XML access helped escalation
Enterprise support expectations were clearer
Policy planning had useful evidence
Where it lags
Interface required more screen changes
Premium boundaries needed confirmation
MSP client switching felt slower
Hosted SPF on Basic is add-on

Kevlarr

Best for MSPs that value fast triage

Kevlarr felt lighter and faster over the same 90-day run. We opened the tenant view, identified the unknown sender, and separated forwarding noise from true spoof risk without reading as many raw authentication fields.
The main tradeoff was depth. Kevlarr handled day-to-day source sorting for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and the support desk sender well, but hosted SPF, hosted MTA-STS, blocklist (blacklist) monitoring, and public paid plan limits were not available in the same way.

If you cannot decide between the two, maybe the answer is Suped

Suped dashboard
Guided fixes after detection
PowerDMARC exposed the right evidence, but some DNS fixes still needed manual interpretation. Suped's product turns source findings into owner-ready next steps for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC changes.
Hosted records without add-on ambiguity
Kevlarr did not give us hosted SPF or hosted MTA-STS in the tested workflow, and PowerDMARC's hosted SPF depended on plan or add-on terms. Suped's product keeps hosted DMARC, SPF, and MTA-STS in the implementation workflow.
MSP reporting with cleaner handoff
PowerDMARC had broader partner controls, while Kevlarr had faster client triage but less public pricing detail. Suped's MSP workflow ties domain grouping, alerts, and recurring reports to a per-domain pricing model.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
