PowerDMARC presents itself as a full-suite email security platform, extending beyond DMARC reporting to offer a robust set of features. We found its capabilities to be quite extensive, covering various facets of email authentication and domain protection. This includes hosted services for SPF, DKIM, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, and BIMI, which can be invaluable for organizations seeking to consolidate their email security efforts.
Their platform also integrates advanced analytics, real-time alerts, and a threat map, providing a comprehensive view of email traffic and potential spoofing attempts. The depth of reporting, including geolocation and forensic data, means we can pinpoint issues with a high degree of granularity. For those who want to automate, the API access in higher tiers is a definite plus, allowing for integration with existing security workflows.
Kevlarr focuses on providing clear, actionable insights for DMARC monitoring. While its feature set might appear more streamlined compared to PowerDMARC's broader offerings, we appreciated its emphasis on filtering out noise to highlight critical issues. This approach makes it easier for users to quickly understand their email flow and identify potential weak spots in their email systems.
The platform excels in delivering easy-to-understand reports and offers an API, which we found particularly useful for automation. This allows users to integrate DMARC reporting into their existing systems and set up auto-remediation, addressing problems proactively. Kevlarr's commitment to simplifying DMARC management is evident, even if it doesn't offer the same breadth of hosted services as some competitors.

User experience
PowerDMARC offers a feature-rich interface that, while comprehensive, can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for new users. We observed that navigation occasionally requires extra clicks to reach desired information, and some sections might appear dated compared to more modern UI designs. However, the guided setup wizards and extensive documentation help mitigate this learning curve.
Despite some UI complexities, the platform's ability to consolidate DMARC, DKIM, and SPF policies in one place is a significant advantage. The visual reporting tools, such as the threat map and domain DNS timeline, provide a clear overview once you're familiar with the layout. The consensus from users suggests that once accustomed to the system, its ease of use for day-to-day monitoring is high.
Kevlarr's user interface is generally clean and simple, designed to provide a fast overview of critical DMARC information. We appreciate its straightforward approach, which allows us to quickly assess the health of multiple domains without getting bogged down in excessive detail. This simplicity is particularly beneficial for those who prioritize immediate insights over extensive customization.
Some users have noted that the interface, while clean, could be more intuitive in terms of navigation, sometimes requiring a bit of searching to find specific pages. However, the focus on filtering out

Support
PowerDMARC consistently receives high praise for its support team. Our experience, echoed by numerous user reviews, highlights their responsiveness, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile. Many users specifically mentioned positive interactions with support staff during setup and troubleshooting, often exceeding the expected 30-minute call windows without complaint.
The support includes video tutorials and comprehensive guides, but direct assistance via email, phone, and screen-sharing sessions seems to be a significant strength. For MSPs, the dedicated partner onboarding programs are particularly noted for making the integration process smooth and efficient, ensuring that complex DMARC implementations are well-managed.
Kevlarr also demonstrates strong support, with users frequently commending their team for being helpful and responsive. We found that their support is quick to assist with configuration errors and general inquiries, ensuring that users can resolve issues efficiently. The personal approach to support is valued, particularly in situations requiring detailed explanations.
While the volume of reviews for Kevlarr is lower, the consistent positive feedback on support indicates a reliable service. They seem to excel at guiding customers through the nuances of DMARC and SPF settings, making the journey to correct email DNS settings as smooth as possible. For MSPs, the availability of partner support and dedicated contact points suggests a tailored approach to client assistance.
Who should use each product
Suitability
PowerDMARC is particularly well-suited for organizations requiring a robust, all-encompassing email security platform. Its extensive feature set, including hosted services for various authentication protocols, makes it ideal for enterprise-level clients or larger mid-market companies with complex email infrastructures. MSPs will find the multi-tenancy capabilities and dedicated partner programs beneficial for managing numerous client domains.
For SMBs, the free plan offers a good starting point for personal domains, providing essential DMARC monitoring. However, as domains scale or require advanced features like SPF flattening and detailed forensics, the paid tiers cater more effectively to these needs, ensuring comprehensive protection against spoofing and phishing attacks.
Kevlarr shines for organizations that prioritize simplicity and clear, actionable DMARC reporting. Its straightforward interface and focus on filtering out 'noise' make it an excellent choice for SMBs who need to quickly understand and address email authentication issues without extensive technical expertise. Managed Service Providers (MSPs) will also appreciate the ease of integrating and monitoring multiple client domains.
While it might offer a more focused feature set, Kevlarr's strong API capabilities make it suitable for enterprises seeking to automate DMARC report processing and integrate with existing security systems. The emphasis on instant protection and insights into mail flow also benefits businesses of all sizes looking for efficient, effective DMARC management.

Drawbacks and what to watch out for
While both PowerDMARC and Kevlarr are effective DMARC reporting solutions, they each have minor drawbacks. PowerDMARC's interface, while feature-rich, can sometimes feel less intuitive or a bit dated, requiring a learning curve for some users. Kevlarr, on the other hand, provides a more streamlined approach, but its publicly available pricing information is confusing, appearing to be for an e-commerce platform rather than DMARC services. Additionally, Kevlarr's feature set is more focused, potentially lacking some of the advanced hosted services that PowerDMARC offers.
We have pulled the average ratings from G2 for each product, and also included the most recent negative reviews for each product in full. Positive reviews tend to have less detail and have a higher chance of being fraudulent, so negative reviews are a better signal for your decision.

The system also guides you through the set-up process and provides recommendations for improvement. What do you dislike about PowerDMARC? For reporting and advanced features a subscription is required. However, for basic security for personal domains it's free! What problems is PowerDMARC solving and how is that benefiting you? More and more emails where rejected by email servers, or put in the SPAM folder of the recipient. Turns out a DMARC record is required by more and more e-mail providers. With PowerDMARC it is easy to solve this! Emails send from our domain are now fully compliant!

Fantastic All-in-One DMARC Management, But Needs Easier Client Switching and More Whitelabel Options
4.5 / 5
What do you like best about PowerDMARC? I really appreciate how convenient it is to handle all the DMARC settings within a single, user-friendly platform. Their support team has been excellent in walking us through set up and troubleshooting for our specific clients. What do you dislike about PowerDMARC? I would like to see more customization options available in the Whitelabel section. Some of the current image sizing choices don't work well with our logo, which isn't a major issue, but having more flexibility would be a nice improvement. Additionally, switching between clients in the MSSP view is a little tedious. Right now, you have to log in as a specific client and then log out to return to the MSSP view. It would be much easier if there were a "User/Client" drop-down menu in the upper right corner, allowing you to quickly switch back and forth. What problems is PowerDMARC solving and how is that benefiting you? It is helping us protect our clients emails and reputations by blocking spoofing.

Easy Platform for DMARC Management
4.5 / 5
What do you like best about PowerDMARC? Easy to use and great tools for troubleshooting. Theres also great guides that take you through the process of setup. We have most of our managed domains in PowerDMARC, as integration is very easy. We use PowerDMARC almost everyday for its various reporting tools. So when were not setting up new domains were monitoring our current ones. Customer Support also is very responsive, on the odd occassion where I need support, an advisor is back in touch within the hour. What do you dislike about PowerDMARC? There isn't much we dislike about PowerDMARC. What problems is PowerDMARC solving and how is that benefiting you? DMARC, DKIM and SPF policies are held in one place, which makes it easy to pick and choose what settings are required for each domain. We havent go to spend time typing out a policy as we can use sliders to get our desired settings, which is then made for us. We can see how secure we are bu the reporting. We also get great reporting tools which we show our end users.

PowerDMARC offers clear, volume-based pricing with a generous free tier, while Kevlarr's public pricing is ambiguous, appearing to list e-commerce plans rather than DMARC-specific services.
