Ten dimensions, scored from 0 to 10

We scored each product against a fixed editorial rubric after running the same domains, senders, and authentication cases through both products. Higher is better in every row.

GlockApps moved faster for self-serve reporting; DMARC Expert scored higher on assisted enforcement.

GlockApps had clearer early drilldowns for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and it made SendGrid plus Mailchimp easy to separate after manual labeling. It lost points where the workflow needed owner assignment, hosted records, or a clear enforcement plan after the forwarded SPF failure. DMARC Expert gained points for support sessions, hosted SPF, DNS alerts, and spoof detection, but its self-serve classification and pricing clarity slowed the test.

Feature set

Breadth vs assistance

GlockApps wins breadth; DMARC Expert wins assisted depth.

GlockApps gave us more daily surfaces for deliverability checks, DMARC traffic, and IP reputation. DMARC Expert paired DMARC reporting with hosted SPF, DNS change alerts, and spoof detection. A buyer should also ask whether detection becomes guided fixes and automated issue detection, which is the workflow Suped focuses on.

Google Workspace review helped
Mailchimp classification stayed manual
Spoof alert was clearer
GlockApps separated Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace quickly in aggregate views, and SendGrid plus Mailchimp became easier to read once we labeled them as approved sources. The SPF pass using the visible From domain and the DKIM pass using the visible From domain were obvious, while the SPF pass with visible From mismatch needed a deeper drilldown. The unknown sender appeared early, but the product did not force an owner, next action, or policy step.
DMARC Expert gave us DMARC report analysis plus DNS change alerts, hosted SPF, Google Postmaster spam alerts, IP blacklist/blocklist checks, anomaly detection, and spoofed address detection. The unauthorized spoof sample had a clearer security path, and the DKIM pass on a subdomain was explained well enough for a DNS owner. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace benefited from support review, but Mailchimp and the support desk sender took longer to classify inside the workflow.

User experience

Control vs guidance

GlockApps moves faster; DMARC Expert asks for more review.

GlockApps was easier to start because we could add the three domains, point DMARC reports, and see traffic quickly. DMARC Expert felt more deliberate, with setup choices that made more sense after support review. The tradeoff is speed against guided interpretation.

Glockapps screenshot

dmarc-expert.com logo
DMARC Expert
DMARC Expert screenshot
DNS steps needed review
Unknown sender matched slowly
Forwarding notes were clearer
GlockApps onboarding was quickest for the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain. DNS steps were clear enough for a team that already understands TXT records, and the unknown sender appeared in the report workflow without waiting for a support step. The forwarded mail SPF failure was visible, but the explanation sat inside lower-level authentication detail and needed translation for a non-specialist owner.
DMARC Expert onboarding took longer because the support-led model asked us to think through approved senders and DNS ownership before the dashboard felt complete. The unknown sender was not as quick to classify during self-serve review, but the support notes made the forwarded mail SPF failure easier to explain to an IT owner. For teams that want review gates, that slower pace has value.

Support

Self serve vs assisted review

DMARC Expert gives more scheduled help; GlockApps relies on self-serve setup.

GlockApps worked best when we treated support as backup and used the product to move quickly. DMARC Expert made support part of the buying motion through planned Webex sessions and expert-written action plans. The better fit depends on whether the buyer wants speed or a formal handoff.

Self-serve DNS notes worked
Escalation path felt thin
Enterprise onboarding was unclear
dmarc-expert.com logo
DMARC Expert
DMARC Expert screenshot
Webex sessions shaped setup
DNS handoff was stronger
Escalation depended on tier
GlockApps gave us enough setup guidance to publish DMARC reporting records for all three domains and validate Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp without a long onboarding track. DNS handoff was straightforward, but escalation felt less defined when we asked how an enterprise team should coordinate policy movement. The product worked, but the support expectation was self-serve first.
DMARC Expert gave stronger support expectations because Premium includes Webex support sessions and Enterprise adds a broader review model. DNS handoff was clearer for hosted SPF and record change monitoring, and escalation had a more natural place in the workflow. The gap is commercial clarity: support depth, session count, and volume limits need confirmation before a larger rollout.

Suitability

Operator fit vs review fit

GlockApps fits operators; DMARC Expert fits review-led programs.

GlockApps suits SMB and marketing teams that want to run checks themselves and explain issues with exports. DMARC Expert suits teams that value planned review, hosted SPF, and consultant-led policy movement. For MSP workflows and alert quality, compare client separation, alert routing, and recurring handoff notes directly; Suped's product is built around those operating checks.

SMB marketing teams fit

Recurring reports exported cleanly
dmarc-expert.com logo
DMARC Expert
DMARC Expert screenshot
Enterprise review fit better
MSSP limits not published
Client handoff more consultative
GlockApps handled multiple domains, users, and recurring reports well enough for an SMB or marketing operations team. The agency fit was more limited in our test because account separation and client handoff notes needed external process, even though exports worked cleanly. It is strongest when one internal team owns the domains and can classify senders itself.
DMARC Expert fit enterprise review better because the support model, yearly action plans, hosted SPF, and DNS monitoring create a clearer governance path. The MSSP tier points toward multi-client use, but public pricing does not publish client counts, included domains, or volume limits. For MSPs, that means the handoff can be stronger, but procurement and account design need more upfront work.

What each tool feels like after 90 days

Glockapps

Fast self-serve reporting for teams that know email

After 90 days, GlockApps felt like a fast operational dashboard for a team that already knows how DMARC works. We added the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain without a support dependency, then connected Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and the support desk sender. The report views made legitimate traffic easy to separate once we labeled sources.
The harder work was ownership. The unknown sender was visible, but someone still had to decide who owned it and whether it was approved. The forwarded mail SPF failure showed up, but the explanation needed a DMARC-aware operator. Blocklist/blacklist monitoring was useful beside the DMARC work, especially for marketing senders.
Where it wins
Fast three-domain onboarding
Clear Microsoft 365 drilldowns
Useful blocklist/blacklist monitoring
Public DMARC-only pricing
Where it lags
Owner assignment stayed manual
No hosted SPF or MTA-STS
Enterprise support path less clear
Forwarded SPF guidance was thin

DMARC Expert

Assisted DMARC review for teams that want oversight

After 90 days, DMARC Expert felt like a service-backed DMARC program rather than a quick self-serve dashboard. Hosted SPF, DNS change alerts, Google Postmaster spam alerts, and spoof detection gave the setup more governance. The unauthorized spoof sample produced a stronger incident path than the ordinary sender-classification workflow.
The slower part was iteration. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were easier to validate when the support review was involved, but Mailchimp and the support desk sender needed more manual classification. The unknown sender took longer to resolve, and pricing limits for domains, volume, and MSSP use needed confirmation before a buyer could model the real annual cost.

If you cannot decide between the two, maybe the answer is Suped

Suped dashboard
Guided source fixes
GlockApps exposed the unknown sender quickly, but owner tagging and next steps stayed manual in our test. Suped turns sender findings into guided DNS fixes, ownership notes, and policy movement tasks.
Operational alerts
DMARC Expert had useful DNS and spoof alerts, but routing details depended on the tier and support model. Suped focuses alerts on DMARC failures, spoof samples, and sender changes that a team can action without a meeting.
MSP ownership
Both products handled multiple domains, but client separation and recurring handoff notes needed extra process in our test. Suped's MSP workflow uses per-domain pricing, client views, and repeatable reports.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
