Glockapps offers a comprehensive suite beyond just DMARC, encompassing email deliverability testing, spam score analysis, IP reputation monitoring, and uptime monitors. Its DMARC functionality focuses on detailed report analysis, helping users visualize authentication results and identify sending sources.
We found that Glockapps' strength lies in its holistic approach to email health, providing tools to diagnose and resolve a wide array of deliverability issues, not just DMARC compliance. It provides actionable insights into why emails might be landing in spam folders or getting blocked.
DMARC Expert, as its name suggests, specializes in DMARC deployment, maintenance, and advanced cybersecurity services. Beyond standard DMARC reporting, it offers unique features like technical takedown services for fraudulent domains, hosted SPF, and hosted BIMI, and AI-driven anomaly detection.
Its feature set is tailored for organizations facing significant brand impersonation threats, providing not only insights into DMARC compliance but also active measures to neutralize phishing attempts. The integration of expert consulting services for DMARC deployment is a notable distinction.

User experience

Glockapps generally provides a user-friendly interface, especially for its core features like spam testing and DMARC report viewing. The dashboard presents data clearly, allowing users to quickly grasp the status of their email deliverability and authentication. However, some users note that the breadth of features can make the interface feel a bit complex for absolute beginners.
We found that while initial setup for DMARC might require some technical understanding, navigating daily reports and utilizing tools like the spam tester is straightforward. The automatic tests and alerts are particularly helpful for ongoing monitoring without constant manual checking.
DMARC Expert's user experience is geared towards a more managed service model, particularly with its DMARC deployment and cybersecurity offerings. While the SaaS DMARC reports analyzer provides a dashboard for insights, the emphasis is often on the 'expert' guidance and hands-on support provided alongside the platform.
For users seeking a self-service tool for DMARC, the platform might feel less intuitive without the accompanying consulting. However, for those who value guided setup and continuous monitoring by specialists, this integrated approach streamlines the process, offloading much of the complexity.
Which product has the best support

Support

LogoLogo
First comparison imageSecond comparison image
Glockapps offers support primarily through live chat and email, with some users reporting prompt answers to questions. However, there are mentions of difficulty reaching a human by phone, with calls sometimes going to an answering machine. The quality of their email delivery consulting service has also received mixed feedback, with some users experiencing issues around money-back guarantees.
We've observed that for common issues and queries regarding the platform's features, Glockapps' online support channels are generally effective. For more complex deliverability challenges or specific DMARC implementation help, the experience can vary, suggesting a need for clear expectations regarding the scope of included support.
DMARC Expert distinguishes itself with a heavy emphasis on expert consulting and direct interaction. Their DMARC Premium plan includes Webex sessions for support, and higher tiers offer continuous surveillance and a dedicated team of multidisciplinary consultants. The 'DMARC project accelerator' provides on-demand expert intervention.
This hands-on, consultative approach means that support is deeply integrated into their service offerings. For organizations that prefer a high-touch support model, with direct access to DMARC specialists and structured guidance, DMARC Expert provides a robust support framework that goes beyond typical platform troubleshooting.

Suitability

First comparison imageSecond comparison image
Glockapps is well-suited for a broad range of users, including SMBs, marketers, and developers who need to monitor and improve their overall email deliverability. Its free tier makes it accessible for small teams or individuals, while its paid plans offer scalable features for growing businesses. It's particularly useful for those managing bulk email sending and requiring detailed insights into spam filtering and IP reputation.
For MSPs, Glockapps offers features like monitoring multiple sending IPs and DMARC for multiple domains. However, its multi-tenancy capabilities are limited to user management for multiple accounts rather than dedicated MSP features. Enterprises might find it a good tool for specific deliverability insights but may need to integrate it with other security solutions.
DMARC Expert is ideal for enterprises and organizations with complex DMARC deployment needs, high email volumes, and a strong focus on cybersecurity and brand protection. Its specialized services, such as technical takedowns and expert consulting, cater to those who require a managed approach to DMARC and active protection against impersonation.
MSPs would find the DMARC MSSP plan particularly relevant due to its multi-user management dashboard. SMBs, while able to use the DMARC Premium plan, might find the comprehensive nature and associated costs of DMARC Expert to be more than what they initially need if their primary goal is just basic DMARC monitoring rather than advanced anti-phishing measures.

Drawbacks and what to watch out for

Glockapps, while feature-rich, has received feedback regarding its payment confirmation policy, which some users found overly intrusive. There have also been reports of significant price increases for existing users and mixed experiences with their email delivery consulting service, including issues with money-back guarantees. DMARC Expert, on the other hand, lacks public reviews on G2, making it challenging to identify common user-reported drawbacks beyond what is implied by its specialized, high-touch service model, which might not suit those looking for a purely self-service platform.
We have pulled the average ratings from G2 for each product, and also included the most recent negative reviews for each product in full. Positive reviews tend to have less detail and have a higher chance of being fraudulent, so negative reviews are a better signal for your decision.

Ridiculous payment confirmation policy
What do you like best about GlockApps? I used to use this app all the time, unfortunately their policies have made it unusable What do you dislike about GlockApps? Was asked to provide bank statements and a photo ID to buy an upgraded plan. Totally over the line in terms of privacy and unnecessary for a piece of software. What problems is GlockApps solving and how is that benefiting you? Not email deliverability

Good Software, immoral practice
What do you like best about GlockApps? Good software with great email delivery analysis. To be able to test on a freemium and see if it land into the inbox of Gmail, Outlook and other accounts is great. The analysis feature detects most of the issues. What do you dislike about GlockApps? Their email delivery consulting service is a scam, they advertise a money-back guarantee, and during the consultation, they only try to upsell you instead of giving the right solution. They don't provide the invoice for the purchase, and even when asked multiple times, they ghost you as soon as you request the money-back garantee. Also, their email delivery analytics does not detect link issues with Microsoft accounts. What problems is GlockApps solving and how is that benefiting you? It help detect email delivery issue, used it to detect why email did not landed into microsoft account. I wasn't able to find the real reason with Glockapps but it helps to know if the email were delivered or not into Microsoft email accounts (hotmail, outlook,...)
