SendForensics focuses heavily on granular email deliverability. Their DMARC reporting is part of a larger suite of tools designed to ensure emails land in the inbox, not the spam folder. We find its DMARC analytics robust, offering detailed insights into authentication results.
Beyond DMARC, SendForensics excels in spam testing and inbox placement analysis, providing a comprehensive pre-send checklist. While DMARC is a critical component, the platform feels geared towards the full lifecycle of email deliverability, almost like a deliverability copilot, albeit without actual AI, yet.
Glockapps offers a broader, more diversified set of email monitoring tools, with DMARC reporting being one significant piece. Their DMARC analysis provides a clear overview of authentication passes and failures, helping us identify potential issues with SPF and DKIM.
The platform also integrates IP reputation monitoring, uptime monitors, and a postmaster tool, which are valuable for a holistic view of email health. While DMARC is well-covered, Glockapps provides additional layers of insight, making it suitable for those who need a wider range of diagnostics.

User experience

We've found SendForensics' interface generally intuitive and easy to navigate. The layout for DMARC reports is straightforward, allowing our team to quickly grasp authentication trends without much hand-holding. It supports single sign-on, which is a nice touch for team accessibility.
However, we've encountered some occasional lag times and glitches, particularly with email rendering for tests. There's also a learning curve to truly understand how to interpret their deliverability patterns and make the right adjustments, which can lead to a bit of trial and error.
Glockapps boasts a user-friendly dashboard, and getting started with basic DMARC monitoring is relatively simple. The reports are detailed and available globally, which is a plus for international operations. Setting up tests and monitors is generally a smooth process.
On the flip side, the interface can feel a bit complex for beginners, requiring some background knowledge to fully leverage all features. Some users might find themselves wishing for more streamlined explanations of certain report elements or server selection processes.
Which product has the best support

Support

SendForensics provides support primarily through a ticketing system, and our experience with their response times has varied, ranging from a few hours to a few days. They do offer a comprehensive guide section, which often provides quick answers to common questions.
While the direct support can be inconsistent, the self-help resources are quite valuable. For those who prefer to troubleshoot independently, their documentation is a good starting point, though more complex issues may require patience for a personalized response.
Glockapps offers support via live chat and documentation, with some users reporting prompt answers through chat. However, reaching a human by phone can be difficult, with calls often going to an answering machine, which isn't ideal for urgent issues.
We've seen mixed feedback on their customer service quality, with some users having very positive experiences, particularly during onboarding or specific consultations. For general inquiries, the live chat and self-service options appear to be the most reliable routes.

Suitability

SendForensics is well-suited for businesses that prioritize deep, proactive email deliverability testing. Its focus on spam testing, content analysis, and DMARC reporting makes it an excellent fit for marketing teams, e-commerce platforms, and email senders of all sizes, including SMBs and larger enterprises.
For MSPs managing multiple clients' email deliverability, SendForensics offers user and domain management capabilities. Its comprehensive pre-send analysis is invaluable for ensuring every campaign hits the inbox, making it a strong choice for anyone serious about email marketing ROI.
Glockapps is ideal for users seeking a broader email health monitoring suite. SMBs can benefit from its combined DMARC, IP reputation, and uptime monitoring features. Its tiered plans make it accessible for different scales of operations.
While it serves enterprises with its higher-tier DMARC message quotas and API access, the multi-tenancy features are less explicit compared to SendForensics for MSPs. It's best for those who want to cover more bases beyond just DMARC, including general email infrastructure oversight.

Drawbacks and what to watch out for

SendForensics' main drawbacks include occasional performance glitches and a varied support response time, which can slow down workflow. Glockapps, on the other hand, has faced criticism regarding its payment verification policies, sudden price hikes, and some inconsistencies in its consulting services.
We have pulled the average ratings from G2 for each product, and also included the most recent negative reviews for each product in full. Positive reviews tend to have less detail and have a higher chance of being fraudulent, so negative reviews are a better signal for your decision.

Increase your email deliverability with Send Forensics
What do you like best about SendForensics? Easy to use, interface is intuitive to navigate, our whole team can access and use the product with a single sign-on. There is no limit to the number of email tests you can send to Send Forensics to test, so it is not an issue to test every single campaign prior to launch to maximize deliverability. What do you dislike about SendForensics? Lag time has been an issue in the past - emails not rendering in Send Forensics has slowed down my work flow. Support team response has varied from a few hours to a few days to respond to a ticket. Also flags items within email template that are required by CANSPAM law, like our physical mailing address. Also can be glitchy, where previews of emails with flagged content does not render. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? We run all our emails through Send Forensics prior to launch, to catch spammy words/copy and to improve the likelihood that our emails will reach inboxes of our customers.

Ridiculous payment confirmation policy
What do you like best about GlockApps? I used to use this app all the time, unfortunately their policies have made it unusable What do you dislike about GlockApps? Was asked to provide bank statements and a photo ID to buy an upgraded plan. Totally over the line in terms of privacy and unnecessary for a piece of software. What problems is GlockApps solving and how is that benefiting you? Not email deliverability

SendForensics Review - How it helped us test and get to inboxes
What do you like best about SendForensics? I like that it shows keywords that we can change flagged words to, similar words that you can update and exact content issues. I also like the live inbox placement testing. It also tells you if you should go ahead and send or make some changes and optimize. Send Forensics has different sections that they look at - vocabulary and copywriting, coding and layout, link quality and data collection. Most of our issues fall under the vocab and copywriting/content. The support and the guide section is also really helpful and most of the things we have questions on get answered pretty quickly there. It also is a good price for the service that you get. We looked and did free trials for a lot of companies, and feel Send Forensics gives you a lot of what we needed for a very reasonable price. What do you dislike about SendForensics? You really have to learn to use it and see the correct patterns. Sometimes we will test something and change what they told us to, and when we retest we are hitting less inboxes or getting a lower deliverability than before. Lots of trial and error. Recommendations to others considering SendForensics: Do the free trial, test it out and make sure it works for you first. But if you want to fully see what it can do, pay the low price of $49 a month and do some testing. You will likely get some insights you were not receiving before and it'll help you out moving forward with getting into inboxes. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? With our current mailing system, we weren't seeing inbox placement and spam score testing. So this is helping a lot by telling us whether the main providers or not would have it fall into the inbox or spam folder. We've come to realize some words that are flagged so we can make the changes before even testing it in Send Forensics, so you do learn a pattern about how these things work. Send Forensics even goes as far as to show you your reputation, deliverability score, blacklists, errors, etc.

What do you like best about GlockApps? It used to be a great cost effective tool What do you dislike about GlockApps? 1 month after setting up and using the tool, they increased the price by 400-500% What problems is GlockApps solving and how is that benefiting you? Being able to test email deliverability - we can't tell how accurate it is

Valuable tool that everyone serious with email marketing should use
What do you like best about SendForensics? SendForensics gives you a lot of information regarding your emails, without this tool you would have to use several other tools to be able to view all the information, and it would be much harder to do any real analysis of your “email health”. What do you dislike about SendForensics? I would like more details, especially regarding errors found in “Vocabulary & Copywriting” and “Coding & Layout”. Recommendations to others considering SendForensics: Run the trial and spend an hour investigating, you can quickly see if this is a tool for you. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? Email marketing is difficult to succeed with, doesn't matter how much money we throw at it. SendForensics enables us to trim and adjust our email campaigns so that we get the maximum possible return on our investment. It's so much faster to find out how to improve our email campaigns with SendForensics.

Good Software, immoral practice
What do you like best about GlockApps? Good software with great email delivery analysis. To be able to test on a freemium and see if it land into the inbox of Gmail, Outlook and other accounts is great. The analysis feature detects most of the issues. What do you dislike about GlockApps? Their email delivery consulting service is a scam, they advertise a money-back guarantee, and during the consultation, they only try to upsell you instead of giving the right solution. They don't provide the invoice for the purchase, and even when asked multiple times, they ghost you as soon as you request the money-back garantee. Also, their email delivery analytics does not detect link issues with Microsoft accounts. What problems is GlockApps solving and how is that benefiting you? It help detect email delivery issue, used it to detect why email did not landed into microsoft account. I wasn't able to find the real reason with Glockapps but it helps to know if the email were delivered or not into Microsoft email accounts (hotmail, outlook,...)

Good App for Spam tests
What do you like best about GlockApps? Detailed report from various email servers and basic suggestions to overcome the trouble. What do you dislike about GlockApps?
