MXtoolbox gave us the widest diagnostic surface around the primary corporate domain. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace showed with enough evidence to confirm same-domain DKIM, but SendGrid and Mailchimp required more manual labeling before the owners were obvious. The unknown sender stayed in a rawer view until we used headers and IP evidence, while the forwarded mail SPF failure was easier to separate once we moved into the DMARC detail.
Glockapps gave cleaner day-to-day DMARC and inbox placement context for the marketing subdomain. SendGrid and Mailchimp appeared in sender groups sooner, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were easy to verify, and the unknown sender was quicker to tag as illegal after we compared the failed SPF and DKIM evidence. The same-domain DKIM pass on a subdomain was clear, but p=reject guidance felt noisier than the underlying case demanded.

MXtoolbox asked for more technical context during onboarding, which suited the corporate domain but slowed the parked domain. We found the unknown sender through drilldowns and DNS checks, not through a single resolution queue. The forwarded mail SPF failure was explainable after viewing authentication details, but the story needed a person who understood forwarding.
Glockapps got the three domains into DMARC reporting faster and made the marketing subdomain easiest to review each week. The unknown sender appeared in a clearer suspicious-source view, and the forwarded SPF failure was visible without much hunting. The tradeoff was that the explanation did not fully separate forwarding behavior from a sender that needed a DNS fix.

For DNS handoff, the guidance gave a better packet for IT on SPF flattening and DMARC policy movement, especially when we needed to explain why the corporate domain should not jump straight to reject. Enterprise onboarding felt more formal, but the self-serve path still left some plan limits and added-domain questions open.

Account separation and client grouping were workable but not built around an MSP queue; recurring reports helped, while client handoff still needed notes outside the product. SMBs that only want DMARC analytics will face more tool surface than they need.
Glockapps was a better operator fit for SMBs, agencies, and marketing teams that own campaign health. User roles helped account separation, unlimited DMARC domains made grouping the three test domains easy, and reports were easier to send to campaign stakeholders. For MSPs, client handoff needed more structure because fixes did not become delegated work items.

After 90 days, MXtoolbox felt like a diagnostic workbench with DMARC reporting attached. On the corporate domain, we could move between MX, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and blocklist (blacklist) views without changing context, which helped when the spoof sample and the visible-from mismatch arrived in the same week.
That breadth also slowed routine classification. The marketing subdomain's SendGrid and Mailchimp traffic took more manual labeling than expected, and the parked domain was useful for spoof detection but did not need the rest of the toolset every week.

Best when marketing owns campaign checks and DMARC review
After 90 days, Glockapps felt easier for the people running campaigns. The marketing subdomain became the cleanest view: SendGrid and Mailchimp were understandable, inbox placement sat near DMARC evidence, and Microsoft 365 plus Google Workspace checks were readable without a DNS specialist.
The tradeoff appeared when we pushed policy movement and ownership handoff. The forwarded SPF failure, subdomain DKIM case, and unauthorized spoof sample were visible, but the suggested next steps did not always separate IT-owned DNS work from marketer-owned sending fixes.
