We tested DMARCwise and SimpleDMARC for 90 days across a primary corporate domain, a marketing subdomain, and a parked domain, then connected Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and one support desk sender. DMARCwise felt cleaner for lean DMARC operations and MSP grouping, while SimpleDMARC gave us faster source discovery, clearer public limits, and a broader enterprise checklist.

Ten dimensions, scored from 0 to 10

We scored both products against the same editorial rubric after the 90-day test. Higher is better in every row, and a 0.0 means we found no usable support for that dimension.

SimpleDMARC scores higher on discovery and plan clarity, while DMARCwise scores higher on MSP fit and lean enforcement work.

SimpleDMARC named the Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp sources faster, and its public plan limits made budget conversations simpler. DMARCwise was cleaner when we grouped the three domains, reviewed the parked-domain spoof sample, and prepared recurring handoff notes. Neither product gave us useful blocklist or blacklist monitoring during the test.

Feature set

Lean depth vs wider checklist

SimpleDMARC has broader coverage. DMARCwise has cleaner core DMARC depth.

SimpleDMARC gives buyers more visible plan-based coverage, especially around hosted SPF on Enterprise and source discovery. DMARCwise is tighter for aggregate reporting, hosted DMARC records, and TLS reporting. Suped's product is worth using as a buying reference when guided fixes and automated issue detection matter more than another status screen.

SendGrid discovery was faster
Unknown sender surfaced earlier
SPF mismatch was clearer
DMARCwise handled the core DMARC cases consistently. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace appeared as expected, SendGrid and Mailchimp were grouped in ways we could clean up, and the DKIM pass on the marketing subdomain stayed visible without hiding the parent-domain policy impact. The unknown sender required manual classification, but the raw report path was easy to follow.
SimpleDMARC felt broader during the same test. It surfaced SendGrid and Mailchimp faster, explained the SPF pass with visible from mismatch more clearly, and made the unauthorized spoof sample easier to separate from normal traffic. Its Enterprise plan language also made hosted SPF easier to identify than hosted DMARC or hosted MTA-STS.

User experience

Calm workflow vs faster prompts

SimpleDMARC gets a team moving faster. DMARCwise is easier to revisit weekly.

SimpleDMARC was quicker when we needed to find the unknown sender and explain why forwarded mail failed SPF. DMARCwise had fewer distractions once the three domains were connected, which helped during weekly review and policy movement.

Onboarding moved quickly
Unknown sender appeared sooner
Forwarding explanation was clearer
DMARCwise onboarding was orderly across the primary corporate domain, the marketing subdomain, and the parked domain. The DNS setup steps were clear enough for a technical owner, and the forwarded mail SPF failure was visible in the drilldown, but the explanation still needed our own wording before we handed it to a business owner.
SimpleDMARC pushed us to the important items faster. The unknown sender appeared earlier in the review path, and the forwarded mail SPF failure had a clearer operator explanation. The tradeoff was a busier screen when we switched between source discovery, authentication cases, and reporting.

Support

Setup help vs escalation path

DMARCwise fits hands-on setup questions. SimpleDMARC gives clearer enterprise escalation.

DMARCwise was useful when the task was DNS setup, record validation, and practical email guidance. SimpleDMARC was easier to map to support expectations because plan tiers listed basic, standard, priority, and dedicated support levels.

Support tiers were clear
Enterprise path was clearer
DNS handoff needed translation
DMARCwise support expectations matched a lean operator workflow. We could see where to ask for guidance during DNS handoff, and the record-hosting path made internal escalation easier for the primary domain. The enterprise onboarding route was less explicit, so larger teams would need to clarify escalation and handoff before rollout.
SimpleDMARC was clearer for buyers who need support commitments attached to plan tiers. During setup, we could map daily reporting and priority support to the Small plan and dedicated support to Enterprise. The DNS handoff still needed translation for non-technical owners, especially around the visible from mismatch and forwarded mail SPF failure.

Suitability

MSP fit vs SMB fit

DMARCwise suits MSP-style ownership. SimpleDMARC suits SMB teams moving quickly.

DMARCwise gave us better account separation, client grouping, and recurring reports for MSP work. SimpleDMARC was easier for a small business to price and start, but client handoff needed more notes. For buyers comparing with Suped's product, treat MSP workflows and alert quality as concrete criteria because account separation, client-ready reports, and low-noise alerts changed our weekly workload.

Enterprise plan carried extras
Client handoff needed notes
DMARCwise fit the MSP and multi-domain test better. We grouped the primary corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain without making the review path messy, and recurring digest management made client handoff easier. For an enterprise team, we would still confirm onboarding depth and escalation expectations before a larger migration.
SimpleDMARC fit SMB use better. Its public domain and volume bands made the budget path clearer, and the Free, Micro, Small, and Medium tiers gave obvious steps before Enterprise. For MSP use, the client handoff required manual notes around source ownership, recurring reports, and which domain group needed action.

What each tool feels like after 90 days of real use

dmarcwise.io logo
DMARCwise

Best for lean teams that want controlled DMARC movement

After 90 days, DMARCwise felt like a tool for operators who already understand the DMARC process. We could add the primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain quickly, then move through report drilldowns without fighting the interface.
The product was strongest when we reviewed policy readiness, parked-domain spoofing, and client-style grouping. It was weaker when the unknown sender needed owner assignment or when a non-specialist needed a plain-language explanation of forwarded mail with SPF failure.
Where it wins
Clean domain grouping for our three-domain test.
Hosted DMARC records on paid plans.
MSP plan supports client access and recurring digests.
Public pricing is easier to understand than many DMARC tools.
Where it lags
Unknown sender classification needed manual work.
Alerting was more digest-focused than operational.
No blocklist or blacklist monitoring found.
No AI copilot in our test.

SimpleDMARC

Best for SMB teams that want quick discovery and clear limits

SimpleDMARC felt faster during the first week. We saw Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp identified quickly, and the unknown sender appeared early enough to assign a review task before we considered quarantine.
After 90 days, the stronger parts were discovery, plan clarity, and explaining authentication edge cases. The weaker parts were MSP-style handoff, API uncertainty, hosted MTA-STS availability, and the lack of blocklist or blacklist monitoring in our test.
Where it wins
Fast source discovery across approved senders.
Clear public limits for SMB plans.
Email alerts are available on Free.
Enterprise plan lists hosted SPF.
Where it lags
Client handoff needed manual notes.
API availability was unclear.
Hosted MTA-STS was not current.
Blocklist and blacklist monitoring was absent.

If you cannot decide between the two, maybe the answer is Suped

Suped dashboard
Resolve unknown senders faster
DMARCwise needed more manual owner tagging for the unknown sender, while SimpleDMARC surfaced it faster but still needed handoff notes. Suped's product ties source identification to guided next steps so the owner, record, and fix stay in one workflow.
Reduce alert noise
DMARCwise leaned toward digests, and SimpleDMARC produced more visible alerting during the forwarded SPF and spoof samples. Suped's product focuses alerts on authentication changes that need action, not every report change.
Make MSP handoff cleaner
DMARCwise had better client grouping, but recurring handoff still needed context notes. SimpleDMARC needed more manual work for client separation. Suped's product gives MSP teams account structure, reports, and next steps built for recurring client reviews.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
