Skysnag gave us the most complete feature set for our mixed sender test. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were easy to confirm as approved corporate sources, while SendGrid and Mailchimp were split cleanly enough for marketing ownership. The DKIM pass on a subdomain was visible without losing the parent-domain context, and the unauthorized spoof sample stayed tied to enforcement readiness instead of sitting as a generic threat event.
DMARCLytics covered the core DMARC reporting workflow well for a smaller team. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp appeared in readable volume and sender views, and Guardian AI helped turn reports into plain explanations. The unknown sender still required manual classification, and the forwarded mail SPF failure needed a more careful operator note before we trusted the recommendation.

Skysnag onboarding was strongest when a DNS owner and security owner worked together. Adding the primary corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain took more clicks than DMARCLytics, but the record checks and hosted options made the handoff clearer once the DNS records were live. The unknown sender was easier to investigate because the product kept authentication results, source identity, and domain policy in the same workflow.
DMARCLytics was easier to show to a non-specialist during the first week. The three domains appeared quickly, the charts were readable, and the policy wizard gave the marketing owner a useful path after SendGrid and Mailchimp were approved. The forwarded mail SPF failure was harder to explain inside the interface because the view did not separate forwarding behavior from normal SPF breakage as cleanly as we wanted.

Skysnag support expectations matched the more technical product. During setup, the DNS handoff was easier to document because hosted DMARC, SPF, and MTA-STS were part of the normal conversation. For the unauthorized spoof sample and parked-domain enforcement decision, the support path felt suitable for a security team that needs escalation notes and an enterprise onboarding trail.
DMARCLytics was adequate for a small rollout where the buyer can interpret DMARC basics. Email support and priority support on paid tiers fit our primary-domain and marketing-domain setup, but the parked-domain enforcement question needed more operator judgment. Enterprise onboarding and a dedicated DMARC engineer were listed for higher-tier use, so we would not assume hands-on escalation at the starter level.

Skysnag fit the enterprise and MSP side of our test better. Account separation and domain grouping were easier to reason about when the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain had different owners. Recurring reports carried enough context for a security handoff, and the hosted authentication pieces reduced the number of separate DNS tasks an MSP would have to repeat across clients.
DMARCLytics fit the SMB side of the test better than the multi-client side. It was easy to explain the corporate and marketing traffic to one owner, and the lower public entry price made the first project easier to scope. For MSP use, the Agency references and custom contract language meant we would validate client separation, report branding, recurring exports, and alert routing before using it across many clients.

The primary corporate domain reached a defensible quarantine plan faster because Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace authentication stayed tied to DMARC policy movement, and the parked domain was straightforward to treat as a reject candidate after the spoof sample appeared.
The tradeoff was setup weight. The marketing subdomain, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and support desk sender all needed careful ownership notes before we trusted the policy movement, and the interface expected the operator to understand DNS and authentication terms. Once configured, exports and report drilldowns gave us enough detail for security and IT handoff.

After 90 days, DMARCLytics felt easier to run when the main job was explaining DMARC data to a small business owner. The primary domain and marketing traffic were simple to review, and SendGrid and Mailchimp activity was easy to discuss without opening a long technical investigation.
The limits appeared when the test moved into messier authentication cases. The forwarded SPF failure, DKIM pass on a subdomain, and unknown sender all needed more manual classification before we would move policy. The product was still useful, but it relied more on the operator to turn findings into a safe enforcement plan.
