DMARC Digests by Postmark delivers a focused DMARC reporting solution. It provides essential insights into email authentication, showing us which mail sources are sending on our behalf and their DMARC compliance status. This core functionality helps identify legitimate and unauthorized email traffic effectively.
While the tool is primarily centered on DMARC, it offers clear, actionable guidance based on the aggregated reports. We found it useful for quickly understanding our DMARC posture and taking steps to improve authentication, though it does not extend into broader email deliverability aspects beyond DMARC enforcement.
SendForensics provides a comprehensive suite of tools extending beyond basic DMARC monitoring into a full email deliverability platform. We've used it to not only analyze DMARC reports but also to perform spam tests, inbox placement tests, and client previews. This breadth of features makes it a powerful option for holistic email health management.
The platform also includes non-sending domain protection, granular usage quotas for larger teams, and advanced reporting capabilities. For those who need to dive deep into every aspect of their email sending reputation and performance, SendForensics offers a robust set of features to optimize deliverability.

User experience

DMARC Digests by Postmark offers a very clean and straightforward user interface. We found it exceptionally easy to set up and navigate, with a clear focus on presenting DMARC data without unnecessary clutter. The dashboard gives a quick overview of our DMARC compliance, and drilling down into specific reports is intuitive.
The simplicity is a double-edged sword, as while it is easy to use for DMARC, it doesn't offer the deeper insights or broader deliverability testing that more complex platforms do. For users who want a no-fuss DMARC solution, its user experience is excellent.
SendForensics has an intuitive interface that makes it easy for our entire team to access and use. The various sections for vocabulary, coding, link quality, and data collection are well-organized, allowing us to quickly identify and address specific deliverability issues. The platform's extensive features are presented in a manageable way.
However, we've noted some occasional lag time when emails are rendering, which can slow down our workflow. There have also been instances where previews of emails with flagged content did not render correctly, which is a minor annoyance but can impact efficiency. Despite these small glitches, once we learned the patterns, its utility greatly improved.

Support

DMARC Digests by Postmark prides itself on offering friendly human support. In our experience, the support team is responsive and helpful, providing clear guidance on DMARC-related issues. For a product focused solely on DMARC, dedicated and knowledgeable support is a significant plus.
We found the support to be adequate for the scope of the product, addressing our inquiries efficiently and effectively. While we haven't encountered complex issues that would test the limits of their support, their approach aligns with the product's emphasis on straightforward solutions.
SendForensics offers a support team whose response times can vary, ranging from a few hours to a few days for ticket resolution. While their self-help guides are comprehensive and often answer common questions quickly, direct support sometimes requires patience.
Despite the occasional variance in response speed, the support team eventually provides helpful resolutions. For a tool with a broader feature set like SendForensics, having an extensive knowledge base is crucial, and they generally deliver in that regard, making up for some of the response delays we've experienced.

Suitability

First comparison imageSecond comparison image
DMARC Digests by Postmark is ideally suited for SMBs and organizations primarily focused on achieving DMARC compliance without needing a full-blown deliverability suite. It's excellent for businesses that want a clear, concise view of their DMARC reports and straightforward guidance for remediation.
For MSPs, it could be a basic tool for clients who only require DMARC enforcement, but it lacks the multi-tenancy and extensive reporting features often needed for managing many domains at scale. Enterprise users might find it too limited for complex email ecosystems, as it doesn't offer advanced features like API access or deep deliverability diagnostics.
SendForensics is a strong choice for SMBs and medium-sized companies that take their email deliverability seriously and need more than just DMARC reporting. Its comprehensive tools for spam testing, inbox placement, and DMARC analytics provide a robust solution for optimizing email campaigns.
MSPs and enterprises will appreciate its multi-tenancy capabilities, granular user quotas, and advanced reporting, which are crucial for managing multiple clients or large teams. While it offers Enterprise SAML/SSO as an optional extra, it's clearly designed to scale with growing needs, making it suitable for larger, more complex sending environments.

Drawbacks and what to watch out for

When we look at the drawbacks, DMARC Digests by Postmark's main limitation is its singular focus on DMARC, meaning users need other tools for broader deliverability. SendForensics, while feature-rich, can suffer from occasional performance lags and inconsistent support response times, which can affect workflow efficiency.
We have pulled the average ratings from G2 for each product, and also included the most recent negative reviews for each product in full. Positive reviews tend to have less detail and have a higher chance of being fraudulent, so negative reviews are a better signal for your decision.

Increase your email deliverability with Send Forensics
What do you like best about SendForensics? Easy to use, interface is intuitive to navigate, our whole team can access and use the product with a single sign-on. There is no limit to the number of email tests you can send to Send Forensics to test, so it is not an issue to test every single campaign prior to launch to maximize deliverability. What do you dislike about SendForensics? Lag time has been an issue in the past - emails not rendering in Send Forensics has slowed down my work flow. Support team response has varied from a few hours to a few days to respond to a ticket. Also flags items within email template that are required by CANSPAM law, like our physical mailing address. Also can be glitchy, where previews of emails with flagged content does not render. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? We run all our emails through Send Forensics prior to launch, to catch spammy words/copy and to improve the likelihood that our emails will reach inboxes of our customers.

SendForensics Review - How it helped us test and get to inboxes
What do you like best about SendForensics? I like that it shows keywords that we can change flagged words to, similar words that you can update and exact content issues. I also like the live inbox placement testing. It also tells you if you should go ahead and send or make some changes and optimize. Send Forensics has different sections that they look at - vocabulary and copywriting, coding and layout, link quality and data collection. Most of our issues fall under the vocab and copywriting/content. The support and the guide section is also really helpful and most of the things we have questions on get answered pretty quickly there. It also is a good price for the service that you get. We looked and did free trials for a lot of companies, and feel Send Forensics gives you a lot of what we needed for a very reasonable price. What do you dislike about SendForensics? You really have to learn to use it and see the correct patterns. Sometimes we will test something and change what they told us to, and when we retest we are hitting less inboxes or getting a lower deliverability than before. Lots of trial and error. Recommendations to others considering SendForensics: Do the free trial, test it out and make sure it works for you first. But if you want to fully see what it can do, pay the low price of $49 a month and do some testing. You will likely get some insights you were not receiving before and it'll help you out moving forward with getting into inboxes. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? With our current mailing system, we weren't seeing inbox placement and spam score testing. So this is helping a lot by telling us whether the main providers or not would have it fall into the inbox or spam folder. We've come to realize some words that are flagged so we can make the changes before even testing it in Send Forensics, so you do learn a pattern about how these things work. Send Forensics even goes as far as to show you your reputation, deliverability score, blacklists, errors, etc.

Valuable tool that everyone serious with email marketing should use
What do you like best about SendForensics? SendForensics gives you a lot of information regarding your emails, without this tool you would have to use several other tools to be able to view all the information, and it would be much harder to do any real analysis of your “email health”. What do you dislike about SendForensics? I would like more details, especially regarding errors found in “Vocabulary & Copywriting” and “Coding & Layout”. Recommendations to others considering SendForensics: Run the trial and spend an hour investigating, you can quickly see if this is a tool for you. What problems is SendForensics solving and how is that benefiting you? Email marketing is difficult to succeed with, doesn't matter how much money we throw at it. SendForensics enables us to trim and adjust our email campaigns so that we get the maximum possible return on our investment. It's so much faster to find out how to improve our email campaigns with SendForensics.
