In DMARC Digests, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace landed as known sources within the first reporting cycle, and SendGrid and Mailchimp separated cleanly once we matched the DKIM domains. The support desk sender stayed in the unknown bucket until we mapped its return-path domain, and the forwarded mail case showed SPF failure without making the forwarder explanation automatic. The product did well on the unauthorized spoof sample because the failed source stayed visible next to policy guidance instead of being buried in campaign metrics.
SendForensics put DMARC analytics beside inbox placement, content checks, and reputation signals, so SendGrid and Mailchimp made more sense for marketing operators. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace still required us to inspect authentication rows to confirm the visible From mismatch case, and the unknown support sender took longer to classify because the interface pushed us across several report views. The benefit was breadth: the same workspace linked DMARC issues with campaign testing and blacklist/blocklist context.

DMARC Digests onboarding was short: add domain, publish the DMARC RUA target, then wait for aggregate reports. Our primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain all appeared cleanly, and the parked domain made the unauthorized spoof sample obvious because there were no legitimate senders to sift through. Finding the unknown support sender was slower, since ownership lived outside the tool and had to be recorded in our own handoff notes.
SendForensics onboarding asked us to place DMARC inside a broader deliverability workflow. That made the first hour heavier, but it also made the forwarded SPF failure easier to explain to a marketer because the same area showed inbox and content implications. The unknown sender required more navigation than we wanted: we moved between DMARC analytics, sending domain views, and report exports before deciding it belonged to the support desk.

After 90 days, SendForensics felt more useful when the question went beyond DMARC. SendGrid and Mailchimp analysis worked better beside inbox placement and content checks, and reputation data helped explain why a marketing owner cared about an authentication issue.
The tradeoff was focus. We spent more time moving between views to classify the unknown sender, and the visible From mismatch case needed careful explanation because DMARC policy movement was not the only workflow on screen. It fit an agency or marketing operations team better than a security team that only wants enforcement.
