Sources are the services sending email on behalf of your domain - things like Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Salesforce, SendGrid, and so on.
Suped automatically identifies 70+ known email providers from DMARC report data, so you don't have to guess which IP address belongs to which service.
Verified vs unverified
Sources are categorized as either Verified or Unverified.
Verified sources
You've confirmed that this source legitimately sends email on your behalf. Issues are tracked for verified sources, meaning you'll get alerts when something goes wrong with SPF, DKIM, or DMARC for that source.
Unverified sources
These could be legitimate services you haven't confirmed yet, or they could be spoofing attempts. You should review unverified sources and either verify or dismiss them.
How to verify a source
Click the source on the Issues page and mark it as verified. Once verified, Suped will start tracking issues for that source and alert you to authentication failures.
Why verifying matters
Issue detection only runs against verified sources. If you don't verify your legitimate sending services, you won't get alerts when they have authentication problems. Verifying your sources ensures you get accurate, actionable alerts.
