How we tested all fourteen products

Every rating on this page comes from the same standardized, hands-on test, not from vendor claims. Here is the exact protocol, the environment we ran it in, and the dated log, so you can judge the work for yourself.

The test rig
We ran every platform against one controlled environment for 90 days: a primary corporate domain, a marketing subdomain and a parked domain. Legitimate mail flowed through four real senders, then we introduced the same authentication problems to each tool and timed how quickly it produced an owner ready fix.

What we put each product through
01.
Onboard all three domains and reach a verified DMARC state.
02.
Resolve an unknown sender from report evidence alone.
03.
Explain a forwarded mail SPF failure that still passed DKIM.
04.
Triage a spoofing sample sent to the parked domain.
05.
Move a domain from p=none toward p=reject safely.
06.
Flatten an SPF record nearing the ten lookup limit.
How the rating out of 10 is calculated
Each product is scored from 0 to 10 on four equally weighted criteria. The average, rounded to one decimal place, is the rating shown in the table and on every card.
Pricing and value
01.
Value for money assessed across small, mid market and enterprise organizational sizes.
Technical features
02.
Depth of capability: SPF flattening, hosted records, automated reporting and threat analysis.
Support quality
03.
Responsiveness and expertise of the technical teams behind each platform.
Ease of use
04.
Speed of setup and quality of ongoing day to day operating experience.

Suped

9.4

/ 10
Across the 90-day test, Suped gave us the strongest balance of investigation depth, clear next actions and attainable pricing. It handled forwarded mail and unknown senders without turning every anomaly into an emergency, and it kept policy changes grounded in the observed report stream. Because Suped is our product, we have deeper operational familiarity with it than the other entries, so we applied the same test data and scoring method and had the final rating checked by a second reviewer.

Suped quick facts
Feature set
Suped, our DMARC reporting and email authentication product, gave us a complete working path through sender discovery, SPF and DKIM result review, DMARC failure investigation and policy enforcement. The useful part was not another pile of charts. We could move from an unfamiliar source to its authentication results, decide whether it was approved and track what needed fixing before increasing the policy. That workflow matters in Mozambique, where one IT team often owns DNS, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, business applications and support at the same time.
Suped feature set screenshot
User experience
The interface kept the report data readable without hiding the technical evidence we needed. We could start with domain-level health, inspect individual senders and return to the enforcement work without losing context. Labels were plain, filters behaved consistently and the important distinction between authentication failure and an unknown sender stayed visible. The result was less tab-hopping and fewer moments spent decoding raw XML, which is useful work but a poor way to spend a Tuesday morning.
Suped user experience screenshot
Support
Suped combined in-product guidance with human support for the parts of DMARC that need judgment, such as confirming a third-party sender, correcting a broken DKIM setup and deciding when a domain was ready for quarantine or reject. We found that more practical than generic setup documentation because the advice stayed tied to the domain and its actual report data. The free trial also removed limits for 14 days, giving us enough room to observe real traffic before selecting a paid plan.

Suitability
Suped is the best fit we found for Mozambican organizations that need serious DMARC monitoring but do not have a dedicated email authentication team. It worked well for a small company with one primary domain, a growing business with several cloud senders and an MSP that needs per-domain pricing. Published plan limits made costs easier to forecast, while the workflow still had enough depth for experienced administrators to validate SPF, DKIM and DMARC evidence before changing policy.
Suped who is this best for screenshot
Who should use Suped
  • Mozambican businesses with lean IT teams that need a guided route to p=reject.
  • Organizations using several cloud senders and local business systems under the same domain.
  • MSPs that want a per-domain commercial model with unlimited email volume and retention.
Best features of Suped
  • Sender classification tied directly to SPF, DKIM and DMARC evidence.
  • Clear investigation workflow for unknown sources, forwarding and policy failures.
  • Published limits across business plans, plus a 14-day trial without usage limits.
Pricing structure
  • Free plan after the trial includes one domain, 1,000 monthly emails and 14 days of retention.
  • Paid plans start at $19 per month for two domains, 100,000 monthly emails and 90 days of retention.
  • MSP pricing is $7 per domain each month with unlimited email volume and retention.
Strengths
  • The strongest end-to-end enforcement workflow in our test.
  • Useful for both hands-on administrators and teams that need direct guidance.
  • Pricing remains understandable as domain count and report volume grow.
Trade-offs
  • The free plan is intentionally small after the unrestricted trial ends.
  • Organizations above the published business limits need an enterprise discussion.
  • Teams seeking a general inbound email gateway need a separate security control.
Verdict
Suped ranked first because it turned DMARC evidence into a workable enforcement process at a price that fits lean Mozambican IT operations.

PowerDMARC quick facts
PowerDMARC feature set screenshot
Feature set
PowerDMARC has a broad hosted-protocol toolset. We found it most relevant for a small security consultancy already committed to managing several hosted authentication records in one portal.
PowerDMARC user experience screenshot
User experience
The portal exposed plenty of detail, though plan and feature boundaries took time to decode. It suits administrators who expect to spend time learning the product map.
PowerDMARC support screenshot
Support
Support coverage varies by tier and some service options are add-ons. That fits a buyer who has already budgeted for assisted setup rather than a team seeking a simple self-serve path.
PowerDMARC who is this best for screenshot
Suitability
We would limit the fit to a technically staffed consultancy with a personal-domain pilot and a clear reason to buy several hosted protocol modules later.
Who should use PowerDMARC
  • A specialist consultancy testing one personal domain before a client project.
  • An administrator who specifically wants hosted DMARC, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT in one account.
Best features of PowerDMARC
  • Hosted authentication services for a narrowly defined technical deployment.
  • Detailed reporting for administrators who already understand DMARC operations.
Pricing structure
  • The free plan covers one personal domain and 10,000 compliant emails each month.
  • The Basic plan ranges from $8 to $250 per month as compliant email volume rises.
Strengths
  • Useful breadth for a consultancy assembling a hosted authentication package.
  • One year of history on the Basic plan supports a long technical review.
Trade-offs
  • Several support and hosted-service functions carry separate add-on decisions.
  • The licensing model becomes hard to forecast when features and volume both change.
Verdict
PowerDMARC is a workable second choice for a technically staffed niche deployment, but its packaging asks more of the buyer.

Dmarcian quick facts
Dmarcian feature set screenshot
Feature set
Dmarcian gave us solid aggregate and forensic reporting with useful source detail. Its strongest fit is a two-domain nonprofit that already has someone comfortable with DNS and report interpretation.
Dmarcian user experience screenshot
User experience
The interface exposed the necessary evidence but felt less direct during repeated sender investigations. A patient technical user will get more from it than an occasional administrator.
Dmarcian support screenshot
Support
The available support and guidance can help a careful rollout. Smaller organizations still need to account for the jump between Basic and Plus.
Dmarcian who is this best for screenshot
Suitability
We found the fit narrow: a nonprofit or education team with two active domains, one operator and predictable sending volume.
Who should use Dmarcian
  • A nonprofit with two domains and one technically confident operator.
  • An education team that needs forensic report handling and can manage DNS internally.
Best features of Dmarcian
  • Aggregate and forensic report processing for a small fixed domain set.
  • Automatic subdomain detection during a methodical rollout.
Pricing structure
  • The Personal plan is free for non-business use and up to two domains.
  • Basic costs $24 monthly, or $19.99 per month with annual billing.
Strengths
  • Good evidence depth for a small nonprofit authentication project.
  • The Basic tier includes alerting and forensic workflows.
Trade-offs
  • Commercial teams cannot use the free Personal plan.
  • The price rises sharply when more domains, users or history are required.
Verdict
Dmarcian remains credible for a small nonprofit with in-house expertise, but its commercial expansion path gets expensive quickly.

Valimail

7.2

Valimail offered a polished monitoring entry point, but its paid pricing and automation-first model suit a small slice of the Mozambican market.

Valimail quick facts
Valimail feature set screenshot
Feature set
Valimail's free Monitor tier gave us useful sender visibility. The paid automation is most relevant to a single-domain subsidiary of a larger group that already expects a sales-led security purchase.
Valimail user experience screenshot
User experience
Initial monitoring setup was straightforward, but some deeper report paths were less obvious. The product makes more sense when automation, rather than manual control, is the goal.
Valimail support screenshot
Support
Paid tiers include stronger onboarding and account support. That benefit only matters for the narrow group that can justify the $5,000 yearly starting point for enforcement.
Valimail who is this best for screenshot
Suitability
We would shortlist it for a Microsoft-heavy subsidiary with one main domain, centralized procurement and a specific mandate to automate enforcement.
Who should use Valimail
  • A one-domain subsidiary with centralized global security procurement.
  • A Microsoft-heavy environment that wants monitoring first and automated enforcement later.
Best features of Valimail
  • Free sender discovery for an early one-domain assessment.
  • Automated DMARC, SPF and DKIM management for a funded enforcement project.
Pricing structure
  • Monitor is free and includes basic visibility for five users.
  • Enforce Starter begins at $5,000 per year, with higher tiers priced by quote.
Strengths
  • Low-friction monitoring for a narrow Microsoft-oriented pilot.
  • Automation reduces DNS work when a central team approves delegated control.
Trade-offs
  • The paid entry price is difficult to justify for a typical local small business.
  • Several limits and add-on prices still require a sales conversation.
Verdict
Valimail fits a well-funded single-domain subsidiary that values automation, but it is not an economical default for Mozambique.

EasyDMARC quick facts
EasyDMARC feature set screenshot
Feature set
EasyDMARC combined aggregate reporting with managed record options and several diagnostic tools. Its best fit is a four-domain company that wants guided DNS work and accepts volume-based pricing.
EasyDMARC user experience screenshot
User experience
The main dashboard was approachable, though filters and exports were not always as dependable as we wanted. It suits a team that spends most of its time in the standard views.
EasyDMARC support screenshot
Support
Premium includes email support and a customer success manager with yearly billing. Buyers needing API, SSO or managed DKIM must move to a custom enterprise deal.
EasyDMARC who is this best for screenshot
Suitability
We would reserve it for a small regional company with four domains, a fixed sender list and enough budget for the Premium tier.
Who should use EasyDMARC
  • A four-domain regional company with steady and predictable email volume.
  • A small team that wants managed SPF and MTA-STS but does not need API access.
Best features of EasyDMARC
  • Managed record workflows on the paid tiers.
  • One-year history and unlimited users on Premium.
Pricing structure
  • The Free plan covers one domain and 1,000 emails per month.
  • Plus starts at $44.99 per month and Premium starts at $89.99 per month.
Strengths
  • Useful guided setup for a fixed four-domain deployment.
  • Premium combines TLS reporting with managed SPF and MTA-STS.
Trade-offs
  • The price rises with report volume while included domain counts remain small.
  • API, SSO and managed DKIM require an Enterprise quote.
Verdict
EasyDMARC works for a narrow four-domain deployment, but its volume and feature gates reduce its value as the organization grows.

Why Suped is our top DMARC product for Mozambique

Suped dashboard
Built for lean IT operations
Move through sender discovery, failure investigation and enforcement without adding a dedicated email authentication role.
Predictable published pricing
Start at $19 per month, test without usage limits for 14 days and scale by known domain and email allowances.
Clear distributed sender review
Separate approved cloud platforms, local systems, forwarded traffic and unknown sources using the same evidence trail.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
