DMARCwise moved faster because onboarding, domain checks, report drilldowns, hosted DMARC records, and MSP account separation were already in the product. Parsedmarc scored better on integration flexibility because we could route parsed data to our own search and webhook paths, but it lost points where enforcement guidance, support, hosted records, and classification needed custom work. DMARCwise gave us more ready-made DMARC operations: onboarding, source views, hosted DMARC records, and exports were in the product. Parsedmarc handled more raw ingestion and output patterns, but every high-value action after parsing needed our own rules. Suped's product sets a useful buying criterion here: guided fixes and automated issue detection should turn a new sender into an owner task, not just another row in a report.

DMARCwise identified Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace cleanly on the primary corporate domain, and it kept the marketing subdomain separate enough for us to compare SendGrid and Mailchimp without exporting first. The aligned DKIM pass on the Mailchimp subdomain was easy to confirm in drilldowns, while the SPF pass with visible From mismatch showed up as a policy risk rather than a simple pass. The unknown sender needed manual classification, but the product gave enough IP, org, and volume context to decide whether it belonged.
Parsedmarc gave us stronger raw control: we pulled reports through Microsoft Graph and Gmail API, parsed compressed rua files, and sent JSON into our own search index. It parsed SendGrid and Mailchimp traffic consistently and preserved enough auth detail to explain the forwarded mail SPF failure, but sender naming and owner assignment depended on the lookup tables we maintained. The unauthorized spoof sample was visible in the parsed output, yet alerting on it required our own rule.

DMARCwise let us add the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain without changing tools. The unknown sender was findable through the report views because volume, IP, and organization clues were in one place. The forwarded mail SPF failure was visible, but explaining why SPF failed while DKIM still protected alignment required a written note for the support team.
Parsedmarc felt natural once the configuration was correct, especially for the Microsoft Graph and Gmail API inbox paths. The unknown sender was only as clear as our enrichment table, and the forwarded mail case required us to read parsed authentication fields and write the explanation ourselves. The parser did the job; the experience depended on our surrounding stack.

With DMARCwise, setup help was easy to define: free users get best-effort support, paid plans list email support and guidance, and the DNS handoff for hosted DMARC records has a product path. We still would want clearer enterprise onboarding details for a large rollout, especially around escalation, owner handoff, and policy-change approval. For our three test domains, the support expectation was enough for an SMB or MSP pilot.
Parsedmarc support was the support model of an open-source utility. The installation and usage docs helped us wire up inbox ingestion, storage, and output paths, but DNS handoff, escalation, enterprise onboarding, and dashboard reliability stayed with our team. That is acceptable for operators who already run mail infrastructure, but it is a weak fit for buyers who expect vendor-led enforcement support.

DMARCwise made more sense for SMBs and smaller MSPs in our test because domain grouping, paid-plan API access, MSP client access, and centralized digest management matched the handoff work we had to do. The parked domain and marketing subdomain stayed separate enough for reporting, and the client-facing story was easier to explain. Enterprise buyers would still need to check custom rollout terms, retention needs, and escalation before standardizing.
Parsedmarc made more sense for operators who want to own every layer. Multi-tenant index prefixes helped with client or domain grouping, but recurring reporting, account separation, client handoff notes, and executive summaries required our own dashboards and scripts. It can fit an enterprise engineering team with spare capacity, but it is not a packaged MSP workflow.

After 90 days, DMARCwise felt like a managed DMARC workbench for a small team. The corporate domain and marketing subdomain stayed readable, and the parked domain made the spoof sample easy to isolate without building our own report store.
The main tradeoff was operational depth. We could move toward quarantine with confidence on known senders, but the unknown sender and forwarded SPF failure still needed human judgment and written handoff notes.

After 90 days, Parsedmarc felt like a parser we could shape into a DMARC system if we were willing to operate the system ourselves. It handled Microsoft Graph, Gmail API, compressed reports, JSON, CSV, and search output without a software fee.
The tradeoff was ongoing ownership. Every useful workflow around unknown sender classification, alert routing, dashboard upkeep, retention, backups, and policy recommendations belonged to us.
