DMARC Director covered the core DMARC reporting workflow, but it left more classification and next-step work to the operator. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were separated cleanly, SendGrid and Mailchimp were identified with enough domain and IP context to brief owners, and the unauthorized spoof sample was treated as a security event rather than only a failed aggregate row. The edge case that mattered was forwarded mail with SPF failure: Agari showed the original mail flow and kept us from treating the forwarder as a new approved sender.
DMARC Director covered the core DMARC reporting loop but asked us to make more decisions by hand. It showed Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace clearly enough, and SendGrid and Mailchimp were visible after we labelled them, but the unknown sender stayed in a generic bucket until we classified it. The DKIM pass on a subdomain was understandable, yet the tool gave less help on whether the marketing subdomain should move policy ahead of the primary domain.

The corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain could be grouped around ownership and enforcement state, but recurring reporting still needed tailoring before it felt ready for a business owner. MSP use was possible, but the workflow felt built around enterprise account structure rather than high-volume client handoff.
DMARC Director fit smaller domain operations better. The account and domain grouping was easier to explain to an SMB owner, and the recurring report flow was simpler to scan. MSP handoff was usable only after we added extra notes for the unknown sender, the support desk sender, and the forwarded SPF failure, because the product did not create enough client-ready explanation by itself.
