Postmark accepted the primary corporate domain quickly and produced a weekly email view that grouped Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp into a compact source list. The free workflow exposed the spoof sample as a failing source and showed enough detail to see the support desk sender, but the unknown sender remained an IP-led investigation because the digest capped the view at the top 10 sources and 5 IPs per source. It also did not give a workspace to compare the SPF authenticated but visible sender mismatch against the DKIM authenticated subdomain case.
Centera gave a broader DMARC compliance view across all three domains, although its 60-day retention meant day-one evidence aged out before final review. It connected the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain into one view, and its Forensic View made the unauthorized spoof sample easier to isolate. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were easy to name, but SendGrid and Mailchimp required manual confirmation from sending IPs, and the unknown sender needed support context before we were comfortable classifying it.

We added the primary domain first, then the marketing subdomain and parked domain as separate weekly workflows. The DNS step was clear, but after reports arrived the unknown sender took longer because there was no drilldown screen to pin it to an owner. The forwarded mail case showed SPF failure in the digest, yet the email format made it hard to explain why DKIM kept the message legitimate.
Centera's UI gave us more places to inspect DMARC, SPF, DKIM, and DNS state across the three domains. That helped when explaining the forwarded mail SPF failure, because we could compare it with the DKIM authenticated subdomain case and the support desk sender in the same review cycle. The tradeoff was onboarding: mapping Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp took more clicks and more internal notes before the unknown sender queue felt clean.

Postmark's free workflow gave us the DMARC record, verification feedback, and weekly digest without needing a kickoff. That was fine for the primary corporate domain, but DNS handoff became thin when the marketing subdomain needed separate handling and the parked domain had no legitimate senders to classify. Escalating the unknown sender would have required leaving the product workflow and preparing our own evidence bundle.
Centera's support posture felt more suited to a managed compliance project. The DNS handoff was easier to package for an enterprise admin because SPF, DKIM, and DMARC maintenance were described together, and the unauthorized spoof sample gave a natural escalation point. We still wanted more public onboarding detail before purchase, since pricing, SLA, API, and multi-account expectations were not visible during evaluation.

Across our three domains, the primary corporate domain was manageable, but the marketing subdomain and parked domain created separate review threads with no client grouping or recurring executive report. For MSP use, the lack of account separation and handoff notes meant we had to build our own notes for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and the support desk sender.
Centera suited an enterprise or service-led buyer that wants a compliance project rather than a free weekly digest.
