DMARC Report handled the core DMARC work with less friction. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were identified cleanly on the corporate domain, SendGrid and Mailchimp were separated on the marketing subdomain, and the unauthorized spoof sample was visible without mixing it into legitimate services. The SPF pass with visible From mismatch was easy to spot, but the DKIM pass on a subdomain needed a deeper drilldown before the owner action was obvious.
Merox had broader coverage around the same mail streams. The platform grouped Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace correctly, then added useful context through subdomain discovery, DNS history, MTA-STS checks, and reputation monitoring. The unknown sender was visible, but we had to move between sender analysis and DNS views before we could classify it for owner follow-up.

In DMARC Report, the primary domain and marketing subdomain were receiving aggregate data in the first afternoon, and the parked domain was easy to mark for stricter monitoring once the right plan scope was in place. The unknown sender was visible in the non-compliant source view, which helped triage it quickly. The forwarded mail SPF failure was accurate, but we still had to write our own explanation for why SPF failed while the message was not the same risk as the spoof sample.
Merox took longer to configure because the domain, subdomain, DNS monitoring, and view restrictions had to be considered together. The parked domain appeared cleanly after DNS checks, and automatic subdomain discovery reduced later inventory work. The unknown sender required more clicking, and the forwarded mail SPF failure was explained through authentication details rather than a simple operational note.

The three test domains could be grouped into a practical operating view, recurring reports exported cleanly, and the public MSP discount made budget planning easier. For enterprise teams, it can still work, but the serious support and enforcement commitments sit higher in the plan structure.
Merox fit the enterprise and DNS governance pattern better. Restricted views, tags, automatic subdomain discovery, and DNS monitoring were useful when we treated the marketing subdomain and parked domain as part of a larger estate. For MSP work, the client handoff story was less clear because pricing, tenant limits, and support responsibilities needed partner confirmation.
