URIports
vs.
Across 90 days, we tested Valimail and URIports with a primary corporate domain, a marketing subdomain, and a parked domain, then connected Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and a support desk sender. Valimail was stronger when the goal was managed DMARC enforcement, while URIports gave more affordable self-serve monitoring and adjacent DNS coverage.

Onboarding help and DNS handoff made the primary corporate domain safer to move beyond monitoring.
Free plan available
Pick URIports if
Technical SMBs that want broad reporting at public prices
The marketing subdomain and parked domain were quick to add without a sales step.
SendGrid and Mailchimp drilldowns exposed receiver, IP, and failure detail for manual review.
Hosted MTA-STS and DNS monitoring were available at low public tiers, although enforcement planning stayed manual.
From $15 / year
Consider Suped if
Suped is the third option when guided fixes, hosted records, and simpler ownership matter
Guided fixes should name the sender owner and the DNS action for cases like the unknown sender we classified.
Automated issue detection and alert quality should reduce noise on parked domains and low-risk subdomains.
Published starter pricing and MSP workflows should be checked early when domain ownership spans teams or clients.

Ten dimensions, scored from 0 to 10

We scored both products against the same editorial rubric after adding the three test domains, approved senders, and controlled authentication cases. Higher is better in every row, and a 0.0 means the capability was not available in our test or in public product and pricing material.

Valimail leads on enforcement movement; URIports leads on pricing clarity and broad self-serve monitoring

Valimail scored higher on DMARC enforcement because Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and the support desk sender were easier to turn into an enforcement plan. URIports scored higher on pricing transparency and adjacent monitoring because its public plans expose report quotas, domains, retention, DNS monitoring, and hosted MTA-STS. Both scored 0.0 for blocklist (blacklist) monitoring because neither product gave us usable blocklist or reputation monitoring in the test.

Feature set

Managed enforcement vs broad monitoring

Valimail is stronger for managed DMARC. URIports covers more adjacent monitoring.

Valimail made the sender inventory easier to trust for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, while URIports covered more report types, hosted MTA-STS, and DNS monitoring at public prices. Suped's guided fix workflow is a useful buying criterion here: the product should identify the sending source, classify risk, and show the next DNS action without making the operator infer every step.

Microsoft 365 mapped quickly
Google Workspace grouped cleanly
SendGrid mismatch surfaced
uriports.com logo
URIports
URIports screenshot
Mailchimp filters were detailed
Hosted MTA-STS available
Unknown sender needed labeling
Valimail's clearest strength was source resolution. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace appeared as recognizable services within the first reporting cycle, the support desk sender was easy to approve after DKIM passed, and the SendGrid case with SPF pass but a visible From mismatch was surfaced as an authentication problem rather than a vague failure. The unknown sender still needed ownership work, but the product gave us a cleaner starting point than raw aggregate data.
URIports covered a wider operational set for the price. Mailchimp and SendGrid drilldowns exposed receiver, IP, hostname, and policy result detail, and the DKIM pass on a marketing subdomain was easy to trace through filters. The tradeoff was sender classification: the unknown sender stayed in a more manual workflow until we named it, and enforcement guidance was less direct.

User experience

Guidance vs control

Valimail is easier for enforcement teams. URIports is clearer for hands-on operators.

Valimail reduced the amount of DMARC interpretation needed during onboarding and policy planning. URIports exposed more knobs, filters, and report detail, which helped technical users but slowed the first pass through the unknown sender and forwarded mail cases.

Valimail

Three domains added cleanly
Unknown sender surfaced fast
Forwarded SPF needed context
uriports.com logo
URIports

Setup exposed DNS detail
Filters found unknown sender
Forwarding explanation was manual
We added the primary corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain without confusion, and the DMARC record change steps were easy to hand to DNS. The unknown sender was visible quickly, but explaining the forwarded mail SPF failure still required DMARC knowledge because the interface did not label it as forwarding. The paid paths were visible often, which made free-tier boundaries clear but occasionally interrupted the workflow.
URIports felt more like an operator console. Adding the three domains was fast, and the marketing subdomain report filters made Mailchimp and SendGrid investigation precise. The unknown sender was findable through IP and hostname enrichment, but assigning a business owner and explaining the forwarded SPF failure were manual tasks.

Support

Assisted rollout vs self-serve setup

Valimail is stronger for assisted rollout. URIports fits teams that prefer self-serve setup.

Valimail is the safer fit when DNS handoff, escalation, and enterprise onboarding matter as much as the software. URIports works when a technical owner can read the validation output, make the DNS changes, and use docs for routine questions.

Valimail

Onboarding help was clear
DNS handoff was structured

uriports.com logo
URIports
URIports screenshot
Docs handled routine setup
Enterprise help costs custom
DNS ownership stayed internal
Our support handoff notes for the primary corporate domain were easier to write because Valimail framed DNS changes as managed steps. For an enterprise rollout, the escalation path and account-manager motion felt better matched to security, messaging, and DNS teams. The drawback is that some useful assistance and advanced support live behind paid tiers or add-ons.
URIports gave enough documentation for a technical admin to finish setup without a sales call. The DNS handoff stayed more internal: we had to translate validation output into change notes for the DNS owner, and enterprise onboarding help depends on a custom account path. That is reasonable for small teams with DNS access, but less convenient when escalation must move through several departments.

Suitability

Enterprise fit vs operator fit

Valimail suits enterprise enforcement. URIports suits technical SMBs and cost-sensitive teams.

Valimail fits organizations that want assisted DMARC enforcement and can justify a sales-led paid tier. URIports fits teams that want transparent pricing, detailed reports, and adjacent DNS monitoring, but MSP buyers should test alert routing and client handoff carefully. Suped's MSP workflow is a useful buying criterion when client grouping, recurring reports, and alert quality need to stay consistent across many domains.

Valimail

Enterprise portfolios on higher tiers
MSP handoff felt limited
Executive reports helped leadership
uriports.com logo
URIports

SMB pricing scales neatly
Exports helped client notes
No true client workspace
Valimail made the most sense for an enterprise security team with centralized DNS ownership. Domain grouping worked for the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain, and higher-tier portfolio functions would help larger domain estates. For MSP use, the account separation and client handoff felt limited in our test unless the buyer commits to enterprise packaging and internal process around reports.
URIports made the most sense for SMB and technical operator use. Public pricing, multi-domain allowances, exports, and recurring report views made it easy to brief a client or stakeholder, but it did not feel like a full MSP workspace with clean client boundaries. For enterprise use, it can cover monitoring and reporting, but the enforcement project plan needs more internal ownership.

What each tool feels like after 90 days of real use

Valimail

Best for larger teams that want managed DMARC movement

By day 30, Valimail had settled into a clear DMARC enforcement workbench. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and the support desk sender were easy to approve, and the unauthorized spoof sample stood out quickly against legitimate traffic.
By day 90, the value depended on the paid path. The free Monitor tier remained useful for visibility, but subdomain reporting, advanced alerts, source IP detail, and stronger policy movement pushed us toward Enforce tiers.
Where it wins
Fast sender naming for common platforms
Clearer path to quarantine and reject
Useful enterprise support handoff
Free Monitor plan for visibility
Where it lags

Best for technical teams that want low-cost reporting control

By day 30, URIports felt efficient for a technical admin who wanted every report detail close at hand. SendGrid and Mailchimp investigations were easy to filter, and hosted MTA-STS plus DNS monitoring gave the marketing subdomain broader coverage than pure DMARC monitoring.
By day 90, the manual work was clearer. The unknown sender needed our own classification, the forwarded SPF failure needed an explanation outside the product, and enforcement planning required more internal judgment than Valimail.
Where it wins

Valimail Monitor and Enforce Starter are public list prices; Premium and Enterprise prices are not publicly listed as of May 15, 2026. URIports prices are public monthly or annual list prices checked on May 15, 2026, and email-volume fit is estimated because URIports bills by received report quota, not sent messages.

If you cannot decide between the two, maybe the answer is Suped

Suped dashboard
Guided fixes after discovery
Suped turns the unknown sender and SPF mismatch cases into owner, risk, and DNS fix steps, which reduces the manual interpretation we hit in Valimail's free workflow and URIports' raw drilldowns.
Alert routing with less noise
Valimail's alert granularity depended on higher-tier paths, while URIports still needed manual triage for some cases. Suped routes alerts by domain, severity, and ownership so parked domains do not create the same workload as the primary domain.
MSP handoff without workarounds
Valimail felt enterprise-first and URIports did not give us a full client workspace. Suped's MSP workflow is built around client grouping, recurring reports, and per-domain ownership.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
