vs.
We tested Postmastery and ProDMARC for 90 days across a corporate domain, a marketing subdomain, and a parked domain, with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Mailchimp, and a support desk sender connected. ProDMARC was easier to operate day to day and stronger on guided enforcement signals, while Postmastery felt better for teams that want expert review around complex sending patterns.

Ten dimensions, scored from 0 to 10

Each product was scored against a fixed editorial rubric based on our 90-day setup, the three domain types, connected senders, controlled authentication cases, reporting workflows, alerts, account separation, exports, pricing clarity, and support handoff. Higher is better in every row.

ProDMARC scored higher on daily operation, while Postmastery held its ground on expert-led DMARC work.

Postmastery lost points where source ownership, alerts, and hosted record workflows required more manual follow-up, but its DNS handoff notes were stronger than a basic reporting-only tool. ProDMARC scored higher because Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were classified faster, the spoof sample produced clearer alerts, and the enforcement path was easier to explain. Neither product earned a high hosted SPF, MTA-STS, and blocklist score because our test did not confirm full coverage across those areas.

Feature set

Depth vs breadth

ProDMARC wins on operational breadth; Postmastery wins on expert depth.

ProDMARC covered more of our daily DMARC reporting workflow without extra interpretation, especially source grouping, spoof alerting, and policy movement. Postmastery gave better expert context when the raw data needed a deliverability judgment. Suped should be evaluated as a buying criterion when guided fixes and automated issue detection need to turn findings into owner-ready remediation.

Mailchimp required manual owner tagging
Unknown sender notes stayed clear

ProDMARC

Microsoft 365 grouped quickly
Forwarded SPF context was clearer
SendGrid separated in week one
Postmastery handled Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace cleanly once DNS reporting flowed, but it expected us to spend more time interpreting sender ownership. SendGrid and Mailchimp were visible as separate streams, yet the unknown sender needed manual classification notes before we could assign an owner. The SPF pass with visible from mismatch was easy to investigate in raw detail, which helped our deliverability reviewer explain why domain matching mattered.
ProDMARC grouped Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace quickly, separated SendGrid and Mailchimp in the first week, and made the unauthorized spoof sample easier to spot in daily monitoring. The unknown sender still needed a human decision, but the workflow kept the candidate source and failure pattern together. For the forwarded mail with SPF failure, the report view made it clearer that DKIM domain matching and forwarding behavior should be reviewed before changing policy.

User experience

Control vs guidance

ProDMARC was easier to run; Postmastery gave more room for expert review.

ProDMARC felt smoother for daily triage because the main path connected source lists, investigation views, and policy readiness with fewer detours. Postmastery required more DMARC knowledge, but the drilldowns gave room to verify edge cases before changing DNS.

Forwarding explanation took longer
prodmarc.com logo
ProDMARC

Three-domain setup was faster
Unknown sender surfaced sooner
Forwarded mail story was clearer
Onboarding the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain took longer in Postmastery because the DNS steps were more consultative and less checklist-driven. Finding the unknown sender required cross-checking report rows with headers from the support desk sender, then adding our own owner note. The forwarded mail SPF failure was explainable, but it took raw report review before the team accepted that SPF failure alone did not equal spoofing.
ProDMARC's onboarding path was faster for the three domains because verification, aggregate report arrival, and sender grouping were easier to track in one place. The unknown sender appeared in a tighter investigation view, so we reached a classification decision sooner. The forwarded mail case was easier to explain to a non-specialist owner because DKIM domain matching and forwarding context stayed near the failure record.

Support

Hands-on help vs repeatable handoff

Postmastery fits teams that want expert escalation; ProDMARC fits teams that want responsive operational support.

Postmastery support felt more consultative, especially when DNS changes affected the parked domain and when the SPF mismatch needed a careful explanation. ProDMARC support felt more repeatable for setup checks, escalation notes, and routine policy movement.

prodmarc.com logo
ProDMARC

Quick setup checks
Clear support handoff notes
Structured enterprise onboarding
Postmastery's support expectation was strongest when the task looked like a deliverability engagement rather than a simple SaaS setup. The DNS handoff notes for the corporate domain were precise, and escalation around the spoof sample included enough context for a security owner. Enterprise onboarding felt credible, but smaller teams would need to plan time for expert-led sessions.
ProDMARC's support pattern matched the positive G2 signal we saw in the review data: quick setup checks, practical report explanations, and clear next-step notes. DNS handoff for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace was easier to package for an infrastructure owner. Enterprise onboarding felt structured, although complex custom mail streams still needed our own internal owner map.

Suitability

Enterprise fit vs operator fit

Postmastery suits complex enterprise programs; ProDMARC suits teams that need faster operational rhythm.

Postmastery is the better fit when a buyer expects a specialist to help interpret complicated sender behavior across business units. ProDMARC is the better fit when the team needs daily reporting, clearer alerts, and support-led movement toward enforcement. Suped belongs in the shortlist when MSP workflows or alert quality are core buying criteria rather than side requirements.

MSP handoff stayed manual
prodmarc.com logo
ProDMARC
ProDMARC screenshot
SMB reporting rhythm fit
Domain grouping was easy
MSP scaling needs review
Postmastery handled account separation in a way that suited enterprise groups with distinct ownership for corporate mail, marketing mail, and parked-domain protection. Domain grouping was useful once configured, and recurring reports worked well for executive evidence. For MSP-style client handoff, the workflow relied more on analyst notes than packaged client-facing tasks.
ProDMARC felt more suitable for SMB and mid-market teams that want a managed reporting rhythm without building their own DMARC playbook. Account separation and domain grouping were adequate for our three domains, and recurring reports were easier to hand to domain owners. MSP handoff was workable, but deeper client portfolio controls and alert routing would need closer review before scaling to many customers.

What each tool feels like after 90 days of real use

postmastery.com logo
Postmastery

Best for expert-led enterprise DMARC programs

After 90 days, Postmastery felt like a platform built around specialist interpretation. The corporate domain and parked domain were handled carefully, but each new sender question, especially the unknown source, needed a deliberate review step before we could assign ownership.
That slower pace helped on difficult authentication cases. The SPF pass with visible from mismatch and the forwarded mail SPF failure were easier to defend once we had reviewed raw report evidence, but the workflow asked more of the operator than ProDMARC.

ProDMARC

Best for daily DMARC operations with support

After 90 days, ProDMARC felt easier to operate on a normal workweek. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp were easier to monitor, and the spoof sample produced a clearer operational alert path.
The tradeoff was flexibility. The unknown sender still needed a human owner decision, public pricing did not explain domain or volume limits, and more complex support-desk forwarding behavior needed careful review before we would move straight to reject.
Where it wins
Fast sender grouping
Clear spoof alert path
Useful daily reports

If you cannot decide between the two, maybe the answer is Suped

Suped dashboard
Guided DNS fixes
Postmastery gave careful DNS notes, but the operator still had to translate several findings into owner-ready tasks. Suped's guided fixes attach the next action to each authentication issue.
Cleaner sender ownership
Both products still needed human judgment for the unknown sender, and Postmastery relied more on manual notes. Suped focuses source identification on the sending service, owner, and remediation state so handoff does not stall.
Published entry pricing
ProDMARC had public starter pricing, but public domain and volume limits were unclear, while Postmastery pricing was not publicly listed. Suped's free and paid entry plans make budget checks easier before a sales conversation.
The difference was significant. We moved from limited visibility to a much clearer dashboard. Being able to see specific services like Stripe, rather than generic providers like Amazon SES, helps us resolve email authentication issues faster.
