Postmastery made the SendGrid identity mismatch and forwarded SPF failure easier to hand to an enterprise owner, and its support path was more explicit. DMARCLytics onboarded all three domains faster, offered hosted DMARC and SPF controls, and produced more configurable alerts. Its pricing score fell because the Starter, Professional or Business, and Agency wording conflicted across the public pricing material.

Postmastery resolved Microsoft 365 to a recognizable service and preserved host detail for the SendGrid case where SPF passed but the visible From domain did not match. Its drilldown also separated the forwarded message with SPF failure from the unauthorized spoof sample, so we could explain why one case was expected and the other required action. The tradeoff was operational: DNS changes and several owner notes remained part of our external process.
DMARCLytics grouped Google Workspace quickly and mapped Mailchimp with little cleanup. The unknown support desk sender needed one manual classification before later traffic became readable, while the DKIM pass on a subdomain stayed easy to trace to the signing identity. Hosted DMARC and SPF, the policy wizard, threat views, and paid-tier reporting gave it the broader self-serve set, although no hosted MTA-STS workflow appeared in our test.

Postmastery took longer to configure across the primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain because we stopped to confirm inheritance and ownership. Once data arrived, the unknown sender retained enough host context for a confident classification. The forwarded mail case also exposed the SPF failure beside the passing DKIM evidence, which made the explanation defensible but less immediate for a new operator.
DMARCLytics put all three domains into a compact setup flow and reached useful aggregate views sooner. Finding the unknown sender took fewer clicks, although its first label needed manual correction before the support desk traffic grouped properly. The forwarding view made the SPF failure understandable without a separate export, which suited daily triage.

With Postmastery, our setup questions about the parked domain and the marketing subdomain moved into a clear expert review. The DNS handoff named what our administrator needed to change and what evidence would confirm success. When we escalated the unauthorized spoof sample, the expected owner and response path were obvious, which suited enterprise onboarding.
DMARCLytics gave us usable in-product guidance for basic DNS setup and a quick email response on the support desk sender. Priority help is attached to the Professional tier, while a dedicated DMARC engineer and SLA support sit in Enterprise. That structure works for self-serve teams, but the enterprise handoff depends on the contracted plan.

Postmastery suited our enterprise scenario because the primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain could sit under one enforcement narrative with explicit owners. Domain grouping supported internal review and recurring reporting carried enough evidence for governance. MSP use required us to maintain the client handoff notes and separation process outside the core investigation view.
DMARCLytics was easier for an SMB operator to run without specialist help, and its team controls plus domain grouping supported a basic multi-client model. Recurring reports made client handoff easier, but the Agency or MSP package was not a main public pricing tier and multi-team controls sit in Enterprise. We would confirm account boundaries before placing 50 or more client domains in it.

By day 90, we trusted its evidence for enforcement meetings. The forwarded SPF failure, the unauthorized spoof, and the visible From mismatch remained separate cases, while exports preserved the detail needed for a DNS or security handoff. Routine record ownership still lived outside the product, and the lack of public pricing slowed internal budgeting.

We added the three domains, found Google Workspace and Mailchimp traffic quickly, and used the policy wizard to connect passing evidence with the next DMARC record step. The support desk sender needed one manual name before its later reports grouped cleanly.
By day 90, hosted DMARC and SPF controls reduced our DNS coordination for the domains placed on the Professional workflow. Alerts were easier to tune than Postmastery's, and the blocklist (blacklist) checker added useful IP context. The conflicting Starter price and Professional or Business naming made plan approval harder than the product experience itself.
