Palisade gave us more usable DMARC workflow depth when we had to classify an unknown sender, review the spoof sample, and decide whether the corporate domain was ready for stronger policy. SendForensics gave more surrounding deliverability context for SendGrid and Mailchimp, but the DMARC findings needed more operator judgment. Palisade handled Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace cleanly after the DNS records started receiving reports, and it grouped SendGrid and Mailchimp into a sender inventory that felt closer to an ownership list than a raw log. The unknown sender still needed a manual label, but the path to classify it was clear. In the controlled cases, the visible From mismatch and the unauthorized spoof sample were easier to turn into policy decisions than they were in SendForensics.
SendForensics made the marketing subdomain easier to inspect because SendGrid and Mailchimp sat next to inbox placement, preview, and content signals. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace were visible in the DMARC analytics, but the workflow did less to tell us which internal owner should act next. The DKIM pass on a subdomain and the forwarded mail SPF failure were understandable after review, but the product felt more like an analysis console than an enforcement workflow.

In Palisade, onboarding the three test domains felt direct: publish the record, wait for traffic, then classify the sources. The corporate domain filled in fastest, the marketing subdomain needed owner labels for Mailchimp and SendGrid, and the parked domain made the spoof sample obvious. Finding the unknown sender took a few screens, but the workflow kept us close to the enforcement question.
In SendForensics, onboarding was comfortable for the marketing subdomain because the surrounding deliverability views matched how campaign teams already review email. The unknown sender took more digging because the UI did not push us as hard toward an ownership decision. The forwarded mail SPF failure was visible, but explaining why it was forwarding noise rather than a sender failure required extra notes.

Palisade has the clearer support path for DNS and enforcement. SendForensics works better for self-directed teams.

Palisade gave us a clearer expectation for DMARC engineer support, managed DNS records, and enterprise handoff once the setup moved past basic reporting. SendForensics had useful guide content for testing and interpretation, but escalation expectations felt less direct for a DMARC enforcement project. Buyers should match the support model to who owns DNS, who explains risk, and who approves policy changes.

With Palisade, DNS handoff was the strongest support area in our test. The paid tiers publicly describe DMARC engineer support, managed DNS records, priority human support, and enterprise offload, which matched the kind of help we wanted when moving the corporate domain toward quarantine. The setup path made more sense for a team that expects a vendor or partner to stay involved through escalation.
With SendForensics, the self-serve material was useful for interpreting campaign and deliverability checks, especially around content and inbox testing. For the DMARC-specific parts, including the forwarded mail SPF failure and the spoof sample, we had to write more of the internal explanation ourselves. Enterprise SAML and custom integrations are public options, but the support motion felt less centered on DNS handoff and enforcement approval.

Palisade fit the MSP and enterprise side of our test better because domain grouping, team permissions, client portal access, and white label reporting map to recurring client handoff. The parked domain and corporate domain were easier to keep separate, and the MSP model made sense for an operator managing many customer domains. The caveat is pricing clarity: the public MSP model is per domain, but the actual per-domain price is not listed.
SendForensics fit SMB and marketing-led teams better because reporting, segmentation, and testing views support campaign review. Agency-level segmentation helped separate teams or business units, but it did not feel like full MSP account separation in our test.
