The unknown sender was findable by filtering on source and DKIM domain, but classification notes were thin, so we kept our own handoff comments outside the product. The forwarded mail SPF failure appeared as a failure pattern, and explaining why DKIM still made the message acceptable took manual interpretation.
In Proofpoint Email Fraud Defense, onboarding the same three domains took more coordination because record management, service scope, and enterprise controls were part of the flow. The unknown sender was easier to frame as a supplier or application-generated sender once it was classified, and the forwarded mail SPF failure was easier to explain because the policy view separated SPF failure from overall DMARC outcome.
