DMARC Director was easier to keep in a manual review lane, but it left more work outside the product. The unknown sender was findable through raw source patterns, then we had to label it and document ownership ourselves. For the forwarded SPF failure, the explanation was technically available, but it took drilldown work to separate forwarding from spoofing.
ProDMARC onboarding felt faster after the three domains began receiving reports, and common provider names appeared early enough that our review queue was shorter. The unknown sender still required a decision, but the interface grouped the traffic more clearly. The forwarded mail with SPF failure had a clearer path through the timeline, which made the explanation easier for a non-DMARC stakeholder.

We could group the corporate domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain without clutter, and recurring exports were usable for stakeholder updates. For MSP handoff, we still had to write the client notes ourselves, especially for the unknown sender and support desk approval.
ProDMARC looked more suitable for mid-market and enterprise buyers that want operational help. Domain grouping was adequate for our three-domain setup, and automated reports made recurring review easier.
