DMARC Digests by Postmark gave us the most compact DMARC view. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace appeared as expected sources after the first aggregate reports, SendGrid and Mailchimp were easy to split by IP and domain, and the unknown sender could be labeled once we inspected its low volume and failing DKIM. The DKIM pass on a subdomain was visible, but the product did not add DNS, blacklist, inbox placement, or mailflow context around the finding.
MXtoolbox had broader coverage. The same Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Mailchimp streams were available inside DMARC reporting, and we could jump to DNS, SPF, blacklist/blocklist, and MailFlow checks while investigating the SPF pass with visible from mismatch. The breadth helped with triage, but classifying the unknown sender took more clicks because the DMARC view sat beside several diagnostic tools rather than inside one source-resolution workflow.

Onboarding the primary domain, marketing subdomain, and parked domain was straightforward: add the domain, publish the rua value, then wait for reports. The parked domain was easiest because any traffic was suspicious, while the marketing subdomain needed a separate monitored domain to inspect Mailchimp cleanly. Finding the unknown sender took a report drilldown and a manual label, and explaining the forwarded mail SPF failure required us to connect the dots between failed SPF and passing DKIM.
MXtoolbox setup felt more like configuring an operations console. Adding the three domains exposed DNS checks, monitors, and Delivery Center views, which helped validate Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace records before DMARC volume arrived.
